Not great resolution. MRM Projects installed the new thermostat and element and after a few hours of the power reconnected their was hot water gushing out of thw overflow pipe. This will happen if the element or thermostat is faulty. I think this was either a rushed job or the parts arw faulty or inferior. Advice to new claimants... you must ask for the old parts and ensure no issues before you make a payment.

I've had such a bad experience with this company. They pester you for a call out fee to come look at your generator, then they don't send you a quote. They came out for our generator in November 2023, it's almost the end of January 2024 and we are still waiting for a quotation. I'm being told about them needing a technician to give me a quote. Then who came to inspect the generator? This company is making money from call out fees, they don't know what they are doing. Two months and still no quotation, that's unacceptable.

I've had such a bad experience with this company. They pester you for a call out fee to come look at your generator, then they don't send you a quote. Never use them !!! If I could zero I would !!! When a company comes recommended ... to fix your generator and claim they have fixed it Except the parts they fitted are broken and the generator trips the power. Promise to send someone to check and techs never arrive and then try the bull**** story that their works warranty is voided cos their shoddy fraudulent work has been discovered

If I could give a minus I would. I have had nothing but horrendous service from this provider. They arrange appointments but then never turn up. I have had to day numerous times off work to be at home when they said they would come but never turned up. I've also explained when the power will be going off to which they decided to turn up then and not be able to fully complete the job required. They have overcharged me R459 for a breaker which costs less than R70 and their excuse it thats its out of hours. It would need to have been had the rocked up the first occasion and the rates should be for their service not the actual component itself. Since replacing the breaker, my DV board is now buzzing. They have again made several appointments to which no one has turned up. The one electrician called me drunk on the phone and arranged another appointment to which he never pitched and only to hear he has resigned over the weekend. This has caused me unnecessary stress, time and money to sort out a simple issue. They are now saying that it has nothing to do with the breaker they have replaced and want to charge me more money for another breaker. SHOULD this not be sorted out within a timely manner, I will be forced to take this further to the Ombudsman who no doubt will set things straight and this is totally unacceptable and is a fire Hazzard.

MRM ELECTRICAL SUB-CONTRACTED FOR A LARGE JOB BY JBS MAINTENANCE HAVE MESSED ME AROUND FOR THE PASSED 2 WEEKS keeping me hanging around for day after day re arranging the apt time faulty sensor light ... eventually had to replace the product they installed as part of A Standard Bank structural insurance claim . i have had to postpone business arrangements get home early waste money on parking due to their promises of apt times!! promise after promise not kept for 2 weeks.!!! as bad is Standard Bank insurance !!! like hitting a stone wall!! i have been a client for 30+++ years and what a shoddy business they are... the BANK itself and the standard bank insurance Co! Their service & work ethic beyond shoddy... = FILTHY!! no care for the CUSTOMER -client whatsoever!! I have had a battle with the JBS Company as well My stress levels and frustration are THROUGH THE OZONE!! TAKEN ME SO MANY EMAILS, MSGES PH CALLS, TIME, ENERGY, WHICH SHOULD BE THE WORK OF STANDARD BANK AND THE COMPANIES NOT ME!!

Avoid them, Standard bank insurance limited is useless but I guess because my bond is with them I need to use them from time to time to fix certain jobs at my home. They sent MRM electrical, please don't use this company, they fix things and you pay for it but the problem still exist after then you wait days for them to return only to tell you that you need new parts without finding the fault. So I got a electrician in and he found that I had water damage from my exterior light which the wire is burnt in the box. The scary part is I asked MRM to disconnect my plug that was popping every time the circuit breaker would be switched on and all they did was disconnect all my plugs off the earth leakage and I found out this is dangerous. I Asked Standard bank to send another company and they insisted I use MRM not sure why this is the only company they use for electrical work. Just all round **** service

On Sunday, 27 September 2020 I contacted Standard Bank's home insurance Home Assist line in connection with a problem we were experiencing with our plugs tripping. On Monday morning, 28 September 2020, two technicians from MRM electrical arrived follownig this home assistance call. I explained the tripping problem we had experienced the day before and they immediately opened the DV board to look at what was going on. Instead of investigating whether any of our appliances was causing the problem (which was the case - as we discovered later, the cord of one of our appliances had gotten caught in a toaster) these two technicians from MRM elctrical proceeded to UNEARTH our gesyers, fridge, swimming pool pump and (as it turned out) a number of plugs. I was concerned but they assured me this would not cause a situation of electrical non-compliance. After they left, I discovered that my stove and geyser were still tripping. I called MRM electrical back, but after waiting for hours for them to arrive asked them to come the next morning. When the technicians were late again, I called in a different electrical contractor. He was able to fix the stove issue but discovered that MRM Electrical technicians had caused a dead short in the system WHICH HAS STILL NOT BEEN RESOLVED. This company needs to be taken off SA Home Insurance Home Assistance database immediately and their licence to operat must be revoked.
