Refund
I joined the union 2016. I then decided to cancel my membership in August 2020. This was done through email which was ignored until I had to call. The union was still taking money until towards the end of last year 2021. I spoke to a couple of members working for the union who promised to assist me with the cancellation and refund my money. However, nobody has communicated with me regarding this. Naptosa I want my money, dating from the year of my cancellation. I really not pleased with your service.

Too many e-mails not interested to pay for workshops
They send me e-mails of nonsense. Once I send them an e-mail when I needed help and they responded when it was too late.

Naptosa does not provide any services and leave you without representation
My wife has been suspended from school pending a disciplinary hearing. We have struggled for a week to get somebody from Naptosa to represent her, and they have not provided anybody to do so. She will need to go to the hearing by herself. Naptosa has left her high and dry. even if somebody does call, then they have taken no time to familiarise themselves with the case and therefore will be unable to represent her effectively. Don't bother with Naptosa, join Cosatu or another union that has the interests of their workers

Naptosa : Pathetic and Useless union ever!!!
I have been a member of this union ever since I started working three years ago. Every month they deduct their fee without hesitation. However, recently in February , when I consulted them in desperate need of their help, all I received from them was absolute disappointment. I have sent them several emails and have called them on many occasions. But they have failed to get back to me or at least acknowledge the seriousness of my case. I do not know if perhaps it has to do with my being black, because all my white colleagues have never had such issues with naptosa. . . Either way, naptosa has proven to be a pathetic and non-helpful and unprofessional union. Absolute disappointment! !!

Lack of feesback
I have called and emailed Naptosa countless times with the hope that they would assist me with the issue I am experiencing with the GDE. HOWEVER, Naptosa has not responded, at all! Why am I paying a union that does not take priority in assisting me in my time of need???
