REMOVAL OF DEBT REVIEW STATUS
I applied for debt review with New Consumer in 2014 but they never helped me with any of my debts.Fortnately I managed to negotiate myself with the creditors and settled all my debt. The problem is I cannot apply for credit because my name is listed under debt review. I called NCR regarding this problem and they advised me.to call new consumer and ask them to remove my name from debt review. I then called New consumer and they told me that I need to pay an after care fee of R 8000 for them to remove my name from debt review. I told them that according to NCR that is not the amount I am suppose to pay hence New consumer did nothing for me. Please help.me get out of this New Consumer mess. I don't have R8000 they are asking for, besides not having it i don't understand why I should pay so much money to people who never helped me. I should be the one asking them to pay me back my money because they did nothing for me.

as per our telephonic conversation today, we have not charged you R8000. we charge our fees strictly according to NCA and provide a substantial discounts. We have provided you with a copy of NCR's withdrawal guidelines that we adhere to (we can also provide it to any consumer that is experiencing the same problem and contact us directly) . We also provided you with a proof of our work where your biggest account interest rate has been reduced by more than 20% per annum. You are welcome to contact our office for any further clarification.
