My husband and I both went to see a Doctor at the NHC in Honeydew about 3 weeks back as we both had flu. We arrived at the NHC and weren't even greeted properly, the first thing we were asked is "how are we going to pay? Are we on a medical aid? And there is an extra charge of R350 being a Sunday. We had made the booking on the Saturday night and no where on the website booking form did it mention anything about an extra charge of R350...? We have been patients of the NHC Honeydew for about 15 years and surely by now the people that work in reception already have all our details on file, our medical aid details etc.???? NO! We were not even greeted but they were so concerned about payment first... DISGUSTING SERVICE! We then went to see a doctor and i had all my chronic medications with me so i could get a new script for another six months but when i asked this doctor he REFUSED to give me a script and told me to make another appointment with another doctor......? WHAT UTTER ******* AND PATHETIC SERVICE! So basically i must now pay another R600 plus more to see another doctor just to get a simple script when i had all my meds in front of him but couldn't assist me in that matter. WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR IS THIS THAT REFUSES TO GIVE A PATIENT THEIR CHRONIC MEDS..???????????? ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, PATHETIC SERVICE AND WE WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO NHC HONEYDEW!!!!

I would just like to make a special shout out to Dr Kgole, my sons tooth hurt so bad, and she assisted us immediately. She calmed him during the procedure even put on cartoons for him to distract him. They called the next morning to hear how he is doing. She really goes the extra mile thank you so much Dr Kgole. My son is pain free.

The manager at NHC Honeydew is horrible, she is so inhuman and insensitive. She yells at her staff and always on her phone. You can stand infront of her awaiting to be assistant she will be tying on her phone or rudely send you to the receptionists to assist.

The reason is irrelevant, BUT the service I received from first and most Tatum Demas, from Honeydew NHC, who helped me with an emergency appointment, and then, thank you so much, DR Lakeshni Lall ( Dental Surgeon), for your unique ability for being the best dentist, I have ever visited!

Disgusting behavior from NHC's accounting department. After consulting with the doctor the receptionist will tell you that the payment. 5 - 6 months down the line you receive a FINAL DEMAND email with outstanding payment. How do you send a final demand email when you've never let me know that I owe? You call them trying to get clarity and you're sent from polar to post. They promise to call back but they never call instead they keep sending you the statements. They can't even tell you why the amount owing was not claimed or paid for by the medical aid. They'll lie and say your medical aid had no funds while it had way more that enough. No one wants to be accountable. Bunch of clowns I tell you.

NHC CENTURION I am so disappointed in the fact that they deduct money from the medical aid & inform you before you leave the premises that the payment has gone through. Why is it then later after months you start texting us regarding payments? what is it that you are deducting from our medical aids, yet you still require payments? I do not think you are being transparent, &this is always from a specific DR, WHY??? I demand answers ASAP
