I app**** for Flisp (NHFC) and I was approved for an amount of R85237.91 on 16 September 2024, grant letter attached. I was told to take the letter to my nearest Standard Bank branch and ask them to allocate the funds to my HL account. When I got there, they didn't know what I was talking about and they put me on the phone with HL department, they ask that I sent them the grant letter of which I did and they responded a day later asking me to email them a proof of payment, I called NHFC asking them for a proof of payment, I was told that they cannot give it to me since they paid the money to STD BANK in bulk and the pop has all the names of people who were approved for NHFC and bank with STD BANK, because of (POPI ACT) they can't give it to me. The more I explained to STD BANK, the more they asked me for PoP as they didn't know what I was talking about. On the other hand NHFC insists that STD BANK should know about this as this is how they've been doing things since, and there's no way they'll issue me with a PoP, I should just make sure that I ask for someone who deals with suspense account, because it is obvious that I'm engaging with people who are not fami**** with NHFC payments.

Hi everyone. My name is Zukiswa Tshaka Nhfc is full of people that dont care about others, i have been waiting for them to release payment for the builder its been two weeks now, i spoke to Samuel Mokoena last week and he said he sent payment to finance and it takes 5-7 now i asked yesterday cos 7 days passed and he apologised on behalf of finance and will make followup, Now im sending him an email this morning and i received an automated response that he is on leave until 30 september ,mind you the builder have been waiting for this payment since 29 august and they are irate, i managed to give them half of the amount now i dont have money.Why is this company like this? Who does this to others?On top of that when i send an email to the email address he sent it says its full and cannot accept emails. Can anyone from NHFC FINANCE assist and release money for my builder PLEASE!!! Im in trouble really and the builder is irate!!

I have never seen a place like this, I was approved for rural housing they approved for 135k now they only paid 38k to the hardware for foundation material and they said when the builder is done with a foundation I must send pics they will pay the builder now I have been calling for a week the builder is demanding payment they are nowhere to be found, no response on emails, no answer on their phones now the builder is irate they say they gonna destroy what they did because I **** to them I don't want to pay please nhfc release the money for my subsidy I wasn't to pay these people, respond to my emails🥲

There is a monthly instalment on my account but now I see my account is in arrears for 5 month I don't know what is happening. I request for my statement up until today there is nothing

Worst experience ever as a first time home buyer. I was approved by SAHOME LOAN for 70% home loan around September and applied for Flisp same month September for this other 30%. When I phone the Flips offices at Johannesburg to enquire about the progress of my application around October they denied it. I decided to go straight to their offices still they denied i then give them a hard copy while investigating the issue of my 1st application. When I was sure that my first application is with them I went back and ask the lady to check again she confirmed that they received my application. And she captured it now the problem is my application to be finalized I approached their offices maybe 3 times asking about the progress of my application but everytime I'm getting excuses after excuse. When I read carefully the process of the application takes 7 working days and 3 weeks to be finalized but my story is different it took 3 months with no feedback except excuses . Everytime when I phone I get promises of tomorrow I'll get a feedback. Im losing hope of getting this home, clearly FLISP officials are not willing to do their job or they're undermining me. I'm here frustrated phoning them everyday and receiving false hope. I'm not going to give up that easy I'm escalating this complaint further because we r buying homes for our families. Trying to provide homes for our kids but then this, even if it takes that I must be on TV sharing this frustrating experience by NHFC Flisp I will.

I am so disappointed at the service I get in this company they don’t care whatsoever. I am waiting for my payment since I can remember I called a couple times asking for Carol even today she hasn’t not returned my calls or emails, I requested for the Manager’s he also doesn’t pick like how come the whole company hires such incompetent employees, I am in indeed of the funds for my bond application but I don’t think they care about our needs. Such a disappointment

I have been waiting for feedback from Flisp all the paperwork is complete and i received a letter to say it was approved almost a year ago till today no payment has been made into my bond account when i call i keep on being sent from pillar to post i was given Hlengiwe's number for follow up i called once with my number and she answered when i tried calling my calls couldn't get through assuming she blocked my numbers.. Yooh horrible experience
