Please find the recording attached for your reference. You will note that my reinstall claim was submitted on 11 December 2025, labelled as the initial call. The faulty decoder was then submitted on 15 December 2025 by an in-store agent. I would like to raise the following concerns: While you state that there is a 12-month reinstall limit, none of your agents informed me of this. This suggests either a failure to disclose critical information or a lack of product knowledge by your agents. I was repeatedly advised by your agents that I would be contacted to process my claim. To date, I have not received a single call. Due to your agents’ failure to inform me of the 12-month limitation, I have now lost access to my equipment, including: Wall bracket Satellite dish Smart LNB As a result, I am currently paying my DStv subscription but am unable to watch any content.

Sent email registering a claim on Monday 24 November. Received acknowledgement and reference (133789297) on Wednesday with request for further information which was submitted immediately. Sent 'chaser' Thursday and still no response. Waht more can I do ??

DSTV Funeral cover is the worst insurance you can be associated with. So inconsiderate and no one knows how long the claim process takes, no one gives you feedback. If you can, stay away from NMS Insurance, totally useless.

I took out funeral cover for my brother that went missing on the 01/01/2025 and died 30/01/2025 accidental drowning, the cancelled my claim one of the reasons are that I confirmed that he died on 30/12/2025 of natural causes, I never stated that as he was still alive on the 30/12/2024.

Worst insurer ever. My cousin passed away on the 7th and he was shot and killed.I submitted my claim on the 12th and today is the 26th but no payout has been made. I submitted all the documents and the police report and Avbob costs were paid in cash but my insurer that I’m paying almost R1000 per month still hasn’t paid me but always saying my matter has been escalated and still under investigation….if you want peace during burial,please stay away with them

I have wrote an email to them about my decoder not working. Was sent to take it to DSTV agent who confirmed my decoder was not working. Called today 19/08/2025 @ 9h20 and agent told me that she can't locate my claim on the system. The phone just cut off and they don't even have the nerve to call back

These guys force their insurance on us by lying and saying that this is a rewards program for loyal DSTV customer. I find it very absurd that even when you get through to Multichoice, they are unable to resolve the issue, claiming that they have a different department dealing with insurance. NMS insurance is a ****. Stay very far away please 🙏🏾 🙏🏾🙏🏾

These guys force their insurance on us by lying and saying that this is a rewards program for loyal DSTV customer. This company has been deducting money from me since January 2017 for a funeral cover. when I enquire who is covered by the policy, they are telling me that no one is listed under the policy. I have been calling and emailing them to get my money paid back to me but they send me from pillar to post by telling me to call them. When I call I get though to the call centre agents that are unable to help as their job is to just escalate the matter over and over again. I walked in to the multichoice center in N1 City, even there they are unumble to help. I person by the name of itumelrng from the insureance department is not forth coming. I want my money back. I emailed the company and booked a call appointment with them they never called me. Multichoice please pay back my money.
