We greatly value the role NRCS plays in supporting our logistics operations when obtaining LOAs for imported vehicles. Their guidance and dedication have been instrumental in helping us navigate and meet regulatory requirements. Despite challenges such as high demand and backlogs, their team consistently demonstrates professionalism and efficiency. By ensuring our documentation is accurate and complete from the start, we’ve been able to achieve consistent success. The strong relationships we’ve cultivated with their staff and management are a testament to their commitment to excellence. Thank you for your exceptional support! Titan Tides Logistics

Dear Hello Peter I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the services provided by the NRCS (National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications). As a government department, I expected a timely and efficient response to my request for information under the PAIA (Promotion of Access to Information Act). Unfortunately, NRCS has continuously denied me the services I am entitled to and has failed to provide the requested information within the mandated timeframe. On 25 May 2023, I submitted a formal request for information regarding a car that was imported from India to South Africa. According to the PAIA act, NRCS is obligated to deliver the requested information within 30 days. However, several months have passed, and I have yet to receive any meaningful response. Instead, I have been subjected to repeated postponements and empty promises. I find it deeply concerning that NRCS has continuously delayed providing the requested information. The information in question should be readily available within the NRCS system, and there should be no justification for such a prolonged delay. This delay raises serious doubts about the competence and efficiency of NRCS in fulfilling its role in examining imported vehicles. If the requested information is not available, it implies that NRCS is either involved in smuggling or allowing vehicles to be smuggled into the country. The particular vehicle in question, which was imported from India, tragically resulted in the death of my brother. It is alarming to think that this vehicle may not have undergone the necessary inspections and checks by NRCS, as indicated by their failure to provide the requested information. This negligence and lack of transparency on the part of NRCS are completely unacceptable and have caused immense distress and grief for my family. Throughout this process, Lillian Phasha from NRCS has continuously requested postponements and has asked for patience. However, it has been more than four months since my initial request, and I am both frustrated and angry at the way I have been treated by this department. I fail to understand why there is such a significant delay if NRCS does indeed possess the requested information. I am left with no choice but to escalate this matter and bring it to the attention of Hello Peter and other relevant authorities. NRCS's denial of services and the prolonged delay in providing the requested information are clear violations of my rights as a citizen. I urge Hello Peter to investigate this matter thoroughly and hold NRCS accountable for its actions or lack thereof. I kindly request that Hello Peter assists in expediting the resolution of this matter and ensuring that NRCS promptly delivers the requested information. Additionally, I seek your guidance on further steps to take in order to obtain the necessary information and address the negligence exhibited by NRCS. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to a swift resolution. Please acknowledge the receipt of this complaint and keep me informed of any progress made in addressing this issue.

They never answer their phones. Never. I tried for 4 years!!! to get them to do their work (of allowing me to register a trailer). I paid a R800 fee yearly and no answer form them at all. I tried calling 10 times throughout a day for 10 days in a row. They don't answer, and if they do they simply cut you off. IMPOSSIBLE.

Dear Hellopeter, I reported fraud and submitted all required info however every time when I call the call centre there is no progress and the Game store sends me the sms of the debits as if they not aware that the case is not re-solved, the case is simple and straight forward. They promised to resolve the mater within 21 days but i is now close to 60 days.
