I do not understand why they allow male the******s to massage females, that is absolutely wrong. They don't give privacy at all, they stood there while my partner was undressing, they say they dont touch the breast area but nope he's was massaged for longer than 15mins, its not even supposed to be looked at but hey he continued asking her for a date right after. Up yall game please

We visited Octavia Day Spa at Emperors Palace on Sunday, 03 August, and had a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcome and comfortable. A special thank you goes to Felicia, who gave us exceptional service with care, professionalism, and a calming presence throughout. She went above and beyond to make our time at the spa truly memorable. The only reason this isn’t a 5-star review is due to the ongoing renovations, which slightly affected the overall ambiance. That said, the service more than made up for it, and we look forward to coming back once the upgrades are complete. Thank you to the Octavia Day Spa team – especially Felicia – for a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

What was a wonderful spa facility before is now a poor health destination. Health practitioners highly recommend SAUNA for detox and other benefits. Bacteria, etc., thrive and float in steambath humid air, unlike hot, dry sauna air. Octavias has now closed the sauna and expects clients to use the steam bath. Worldwide 5-star hotels all offer saunas, a curious notorious omission.

I am deeply disturbed by the experience my daughter had at Octavia’s Spa. She went in for a massage and facial, expecting professional care. Instead, despite my daughter’s repeated pleas for her to stop, the the****** forcefully attempted to squeeze a blind ****le on her face. Ignoring clear and direct requests to stop is not just unprofessional—it is a violation of the fundamental trust placed in spa the******s when customers are clearly in a vulnerable situation. As a result of this reckless and intrusive behavior, my daughter was left with a painful red mark in the middle of her forehead. She is now worried about potential scarring and was so embarrassed by the visible damage that she didn’t even want to go out in public.

My husband and I have been going to Octavias Sensorium Day Spa for 20 years. We have recommended this estblaishment to many and also purchased numeorus gift vouchers. The treatments, facilities and professionalism have always been exceptional. In the last few years however, there seems to be a condescending, imperious attitude at the reception where, after spending a few hours relaxing, clients are rudely and loudly jarred into having to provide proof of their booking, vouchers, proof of payments etc. This is due to poor management of processes and systems. They scramble to find your email providing the necessary information and blame their incompetence on the client. In this digital age, printouts are demanded and if you don't have it, you are treated like you have criminally insinuated yourself into the spa! Why not verify everything prior to the treatment? When I complained, the manager went to great lengths to defend this despicable behaviour and promised to call back in a day. No follow up call. It is only in recent years that payment has to be done 24 hours in advance but they do not have the professionalism to manage this so that the client leaves feeling refreshed, not harassed and badgered by a hostile interrogative voice when they are leaving the establishment. I have raised this issue about the very same treatment and attitude by the same receptionist a few years ago but the treatment seems to be even worse when leaving, yet their prices keep being elevated. Clearly, they do not care about clients, especially loyal ones. Also, ruining a fresh manicure because they insist you find the proof of voucher or payment for them on your phone. Even though there are a half dozen of them standing at the counter, not one can locate your email! How many addresses do they have? Cleanliness standards seem to have dropped too. The showers were grimy with black mould in the corners and the towels smelt stale like they were thrown into a dryer without being washed. The cleaners seem very disgruntled and glare when you greet them like you're making their lives difficult. I am extremely disappointed with Octavias and after 20 years, it is time to find another friendlier and more sterile spa.

What a special treat we, my wife and I, had on Saturday 24 October 2020. Octavia Spa is beautiful and clean. Soft music filled the ambiance and fresh cold water was available at all times. Even Nespresso coffee was included. The ladies who did the messages really knew their job. Well done Octavias Spa. We will visit you soon again.
