The system doesn't allow me to scetch the problem in detail and one needs to tell the story in detail..so hence I will just say this OLG service sucks so does their courier company City couriers. They can't get a delivery date or address correct after speaking to 8 different people!!! Shocking, disgusting service. Stick with people who can deliver like TakeAlot. Terrible, terrible service and support from OLG and their courier company! I will never order through them again.

OLG is the worst!
Bad is not even the word I would use to describe this "learning institution". Deplorable, unorganized, arrogant, uncaring... these all seem to fit. I recently finished my BBA part time studies, whilst working full time and trying to accommodate OLG's ever changing schedule and expectations. In November 2024, I phoned in and spoke to a lady (Portia) to enquire around deferring and exam due to capacity constraints at work. She assured me this would be fine and she would make a note of such. AFTER my exam for this module in June 2025 (no communication from OLG on this) I received an SMS indicating I need to pay R500. For what? Who knows! After calling them - their system was "down" (is it ever not?!) so I couldn't check the Financials tab - I was advised this is a "rewrite fee" for the module I deferred... What?! I asked for feedback on this, and have not heard a word. In the meantime, our results were constantly delayed, both on assignments and exams, resulting in some of the students not being able to register for further studies, as results are required to apply. The only constant of this institution is that they will take your money and then refuse to assist you in your studies. Contact classes were set up by lecturers and changed at the last moment, submission dates were poorly communicated, feedback was slow and lacking. My advise, rather study anywhere else!

Very bad experience they advertise on facebook for specials on sprayguns and once you select to order and make payment it goes to the site toplownow.com/ Olg Inch Limited and they let you make the payment then inform you that it is for subscription to be able to buy there procucts and they don't refund your money when requested.

UNFAIR MARKING AND DISCRIMINATION
I have recently encountered an issue with one of OLG's Lecturers. I have picked up a pattern of him correctly marking my assignments but deliberately gives few marks just to make me fail on all his assignments. I made a simple request to have a different lecturer to re mark my assignments, reported this to LOGISTICS and what they did was to refer me back to the lecturer who now threatens and bullies me via e mails and further victimizes me . I am disappointed by OLG and it shows that lecturer has personal issues . Please assign a different lecturer to re mark my assignments this person is ruining OLG's image I'm happy with the service i received when i first enrolled now I'm discouraged to carry on studying thanks to this lecturer. I'm probably not the only person seeing this .

UPDATE YOUR REFUND PROCESSES OLG
Review your refund processes, evaluate the circumstances under which refund is required and update your procedures to fit each circumstance. At least that is what every reputable business should do. Not every situation is the same therefore it should not be treated the same. I am currently faced with a dilemma that involves me having to get my money back from Open Learning Group. The money is classified as a refund, although it is money I wrongly deposited through the EFT process on my Capitec app, which I do plan on deleting as soon as I get my money, I'm keeping the APP for evidence sake. The process of refund takes up till 7 days as per some of the call centre agents and up till 21 days as per others. I am frustrated as I have called their call centre to have the process sped up and to find out the delay and no feasible feedback has been given to me. I went through the reviews and I found the same issue occurred 4 years ago and its now 2020 and the process is still tedious.

Appalling refund process
I would not recommend anyone to take up studies at the Open Learning Group. Their refund process is an absolute joke... I have requested for a refund more than a month ago (12 Feb 2018) and I'm still waiting on my own money to be refunded back to me. I was told it will take 15 working days and after numerous emails and phones calls, I was then told there is a backlog and that I will receive my funds in May 2018. Having to wait months for my own funds to be refunded back to me is unacceptable and I intend on taking the matter further. They have also promised to call me back, well I'm still waiting on that call...

Incorrect billing and bad customer service
Olg has registered me for the 2018 fees, even tough i registered last year December 2017. The sales person advised me that if I send through the filled in forms and make a payment before the 31 of December, I will be eligible for the 2017 fees. I paid and sent through all the info on the 27th of December, but when i log into my account, they have registered me for the 2018 fees, I have all the communication on the email, even my liability forms states the 2017 fees. I have emailed their customer service ********** countless times, and no one is responding. WARNING TO THOSE PLANNING TO STUDY WITH THEM, BAD SERVICE THEY OFFERING.
