Don't know why I am bothering to write this, as Oncallsa don't care enough to reply to any reviews on here. But if this saves someone else from making the same HUGE mistake that I made, and prevents people from ever supporting them again, then it's worth it. Their guarantee is not worth the paper it's written on. Vinson Moore who is their GM, is a smooth talking pretty boy that will turn around and give you the biggest kick to the gut, and leave you winded on the floor. Their acredited tilers are so bad, that you would think someone on TIK did the job. Grout gaps ranging between 6mm and 15mm wide. Sloping steps. Terribly finished off edges. Hollow and broken laid tiles. The list goes on. You would need to see it to believe it. I call to report the bad workmanship. I get told that they will send their local branch manager out WITH the installer, and they will review the damages and we will take it from their. 1 week later I get a letter giving me the finger. No visit. No call. No apology. They fired the tiler Wayne Lita, (an admission of guilt?) and I am down a little over R15k and utterly gobsmacked at the way this has been handled. I either have to suck it up and pay someone else to redon the job, (oh, did I mention that they said I could use one of their guys to rectify the job at my own cost?!?!) or live with this pathetic job and carry on with my life. Do yourself the favour, DON'T EVER use Oncallsa for ANY home improvement. And don't buy from CTM as they refer people to these clowns.

Avoid using these CTM installers.. They don't install half the products provided by CTM. They also operate under the name. OnCallSA.. Please spare yourself the stress... They kept on changing the scope of work unilaterally... And had to redo a lot of their work due to bad workmanship... You will regret using them. Feel free to call me and I'll tell you about how bad my experience was.

I got an online quote from OncallSA (Approved CTM installers) which I paid for immediately. The team was kind during that time, called me and even arranged that one of their guys come and help me buy the material the next Saturday which I was thankful for. After I paid for the material, I gave him the slip so that he can collect the material when he goes off to my apartment to do the job. we even agreed that I would pay him R450 for the delivery of the material to my apartment. He then advised that the installation will be in a few day, since he had other jobs lined up...this was not a problem. The agreed date came and passed, by that time I was under the assumption that the installer have done the job since they were to arrange with the tenant so that they can access the apartment. I leave for a whole week on a business trip, and on my return, I find out that no job has been done. I then asked both the contractor and OncallSA when they plan to do the job as the tenant is suffering form sinus/allergic reaction to the carpet. At first I get ignored by the contractor, and then eventually the company replied...no apology, just a cold message with a later date. I decided not to think too much about, until the job was done. I was happy with the outcome of the installation, unfortunately I could only see it in photos but I am yet to assess it physically. But the other issue that arose was the left over material, these were taken out of the flat by the contractor...I told OncallSA I would come collect the unused material from their offices but they have advised that I must pay the R450 for delivery first or they will sell my material. I immediately paid the R450, sent proof of payment and I asked them to confirm. They told me they will arrange drop off the material at Brackenfell even though I insisted on collecting it at their office to make it easier for them (I asked them not to dropped the material at my rental apartment, for the comfortability of the tenant and lack of space which they had suggested initially) . It has been 6 days and no material has been received and my messages are ignored. I have paid full amount for the installation, full amount for the material and full amount for the delivery. No response or communication about my material, does this mean my material has been stolen? and why am I being ignored now...if you did not want to do business with me, you should have sent back my money instead of ill-treating me like this. I even had cheaper services offered to me, but I thought your company had a good reputation until this late installation issue, theft case and disrespect. Personally, right now I don't even want that material...you feel the need to rob me, that's fine. I feel disrespected by your employees and I want nothing to do with your services but I will take it this matter public and legal...it's all about principle and my consumer rights have been violated.

Whilst the initial installation did not go to our satisfaction, once we brought this to the management attention, they took a personal interest in resolving our issues. Weekly site visits and more frequent telephonic check ins ensured they had their finger on the pulse. I'm so glad I used them, else a R100k project would have had to be re-done, at my expense.

We used Oncall SA to redo the tiling on our patio, the problem we were experiencing was that when it rained that water would pool in the middle. OncallSA then sent out Dusty Moon to do the tiling, we were very clear from the start the we needed the new tiles to be put in at an angle that would force the water to drain off easily. Dusty moon then came through to do the job and after 3 days were complete. The very evening that they had finished it started to rain, the water then pooled in the same spots, we photographed all of this. This was on Thursday, my wife immediately called Frikkie from Dusty Moon who said he would bring his guys back the next day to see what the problem was. The following morning we called Frikkie and he said that his tiler had not arrived for work, my wife then called Oncallsa and they said they would get Frikkie to come out and assess. He came through on the Monday and took some photos with a level. We did a water test by pour water from a hose onto the tiles, it pool again, Frikkie then said that they would definitely need to repair the corner portion. He took photos that he would send to Oncallsa and they would make a final decision. We didn't hear anything back from them so my wife sent through an email, they finally responded on the Wednesday afternoon, stating that the photos were inconclusive, and would need to send out a 3rd neutral party to assess. This could only take place the following week. We were required to pay upfront before any of the work took place and this company has soon a shocking lack of accountability. We are most likely going to need to get someone else entirely to redo portions of the patio at our own expense. Don't think that because you go through a company like Oncallsa that they can be held to account.

I contacted onCallSA with regards to having grouting done and organised and paid a deposit for the work. The job was subcontracted to Absolute Plumbers who were supposed to arrive at a specific time and date. They did not adhere to this and after endless calls and excuses they arrived a day later. I am not happy with the work done and have called numerous times to resolve this. The company keep saying they will get back to me. This has not happened.
