pathetic service, i had went there with my cousins, and after paying for our meals we had engaged in the act of tying a rakhi (typically a decorative string a sister ties on her brothers hand) when we were told we not allowed to do that there, fair enough but the question that still arose was “WHY?”. After they said we can’t do that we saw a white woman and a black man who both worked there conspiring about what had just happened saying a whole bunch of disgusting things (the woman had previously worked at lupa where she was known for her bad attitude, i’ve never taken her for a religious discriminatory lady too. as well as her waiter friend 🤣) as customers who go there quite often it was quite embarrassing for them and those 3 people involved all who worked at the restaurant had a fat lot to say about nothing, ****ing ******s. if only they ran on the treadmill as much as their ran their mouths (esp the white *****)

Good day all, We have are very disappointed with the service and disrespect we have occurred at olive and oil on Sunday the 18th August. We have chosen olive and oil to celebrate Raksha Bandhan. For those who don't understand Raksha Bandhan here is a description below. Raksha Bandhan is a significant festival in Hinduism, celebrated It's a beautiful expression of sibling love and protection. Here's a concise explanation: Raksha Bandhan, which translates to "bond of protection," is a festival that honors the sacred relationship between brothers and sisters. On this day, sisters tie a rakhi (a decorative thread or wristband) around their brothers' wrists, symbolizing protection and care. In return, brothers pledge to protect and support their sisters throughout their lives. Raksha Bandhan is celebrated with great enthusiasm, typically involving: - Tying of the rakhi - Exchanging gifts - Sharing sweet treats - Family gatherings and celebrations It's a heartwarming celebration that strengthens the bond between siblings, emphasizing the importance of protection, care, and love. After paying the Bill we decided to tie our Rakhis and a couple of waitress and waiters conspired to get us out. They did not bother to ask us what are we doing, non of that sort and just asked to leave. We was not loud, singing or chanting. We were by our tables which was away from every and literally no one near us. When asking how did we offend anyone, we did not get an answer and was just told to leave. When asked for the manager and his name, he refused to indulge and was persistent for us to leave. We have chosen to celebrate this occasion with olive and oil because it is no different than a birthday party, in fact birthday parties are louder. Just sharing the above because we as a Hindu community is not accepted in a place like olive and oil which is sad because my whole family come to this restaurant on weekly basis to this restaurant. From now own we know we are not accepted for who we are but only for our money. I hope that the olive and oil management will address this issue with they staff and view they camera footage and change they approach to **************.

This restaurant is chilled vibes and bistro-style dining. Delicious food & an awesome outdoor area to dine. O&O Café /restaurant is versatile for lunch/dinner dates, chilling with friends and family - as there is a kiddies area to play. Excellent service and a go to place in Westville.

It has been 3 years since my 1st date with my partner in love at O&O Cafe Westville (with me in a leg cast and crutches) and I must say it is still one of my favorite spots! The food is simply amazing, staff is super efficient and the ambiance is very relaxed and child friendly. Whether it's a kiddies party, girls night out, beers with guys or simply a romantic dinner for two O&O Cafe Westville caters for it ALL!
