I bought an opel grandland x 2022 for 1 year and half the car was driving nicely. Suddenly these engine lights that keeps on popping up. Took it to the Dealership but the issue was not resolved. Now it's worse it switches off while driving with the same engine light fault. Opel grandland I would not suggest anyone to buy this car. Am still paying for it now they are telling me my warranty is finished but this engine fault is still the. Why opel selling us cars with glitches? Why opel is not atleast meeting us half way buy sorting this engine light error. I was about to upgrade to 2025 grandland then I heard it also have and engine light failure. These a review done on this opel grandland but 2025 model has already engine fault lights popping up. Am not enjoying my opel grandland x ,am paying R9000 a month for a new opel that is not reliable and safe. I was told opel grandland is good for family and it's a safe car. If I only knew I'll be paying for a problem that even the dealership can't fix..now they say my warranty is finished but the same problem when the car had warranty was not fixed. So how will it pay for something that the warranty couldn't fix. So opel brand has really failed me and I advise anyone not to buy this car. Opel come take your car

This review is for SMH Opel/Citroen/Fiat/Jeep/Alfa Romeo/Peugeot Sandton. 9 Ballyclare Drive, Bryanston, Sandton, Johannesburg Their service is frankly horrible and extremely unhelpful with queries after parts have been paid for and then trying to follow up on parts that we are waiting for. We have called over 30 times, and while on the line waited over 2 hours to speak to someone and then we get transferred around to the same receptionist who transfers us around again and again. The service is of the utmost poorest quality. I will never use this dealership for vehicle services or buy parts from them again and I suggest that everyone else also avoids doing business with them.

DO NOT BUY AN OPEL. More specifically the Opel Mokka 1.2 GS. Once would think that a company like Stellantis would prioritse their customers as per their value statement - but it is unfortunate that this is not the case. Our vehicle has only been serviced by Arnold Chats Motors Constantia and has never been to any other dealership. On a quick arend to the shop our verhicle went in to limp mode and we immediately took the car to the dealership. Tests after tests where conducted and after 6 weeks it was advised that the ECU needs to be replaced. This process took more than 5 days to get approval to replace and the initial feedback was that it will take between 6 to 8 weeks to get the ECU in SA. Escalations was done to try to get the ECU to us earlier, but needless to say after multiple attempts from our side we still do not have any feedback after a week and a half has passed. No proactive communication to the customer from the service manager nor the dealer principal and after reaching out my messages are just being ignored. Being without your vehicle for more than 70 days is no joke. Here is the twist - our vehicle is still under warranty has just over 30 000km on the clock and it has been standing for all this time. Getting an update from Arnold Chats Motors Constantia is just next to impossible, you need to constantly phone or visit the dealership to get feedback. As a customer you are not updated and no urgency is given to the fact that your car is not mobile and that you are stranded. At least after asking, loan vehicles were given to assist, but no action from the dealership or Opel SA(not even after laying a complaint directly at Opel) has been with the customer at the centre. My advise to any person in the market for a new vehicle, rather spend your money elsewhere. The likes of Haval, Cherry, VW, Renault, Nissan and many others are eager to meet your requirments and out of personal experience even brands like Nissan and Renault treats you as a priority and not as a nuisance. All I can say is - if you end up choosing Opel - Good luck

We were on the brink of divorce, but OCEAN REMEDY 🔮 love spell brought us back from the edge. Our love was reignited, and we're now stronger than ever! Before the spell, we were stuck in a cycle of arguments and resentment. But after the spell, we felt a deep shift in our connection. We began to communicate more effectively, and our love for each other was renewed. Contact him today and experience the transformation Email: oceanremedy401@gmail.com Phone: +234 816 124 3798

Dear Opel SA I would like to thank you for the investment you made in my country years ago when you gave us the half tonne beauties Corsa Utility 2008 1.7DTI. Yesterday was my Birthday and boy oh boy was it special. A few months ago I bought a used troublesome Corsa Utility bakkie which I am still trying to fix as I go along. For me it's not the worries I have had thus far but the memories I have managed to create and experience during driving this awesome bakkie. I enjoyed my birthday drive from Pretoria Irene to Johannesburg CBD yesterday on the R21 and boy was it special indeed. Thank you for creating this awesome bakkie, though it's not new in any way but to me it feels like new. Happy Birthday to me and my "Zoro" Opel 1.7DTI Utility Thanks alot Opel SA for this Bakkie.

I bought an Opel about a month ago. It started giving me engine issues and It was taken to a dealer on the 7th of October 2024, Where a Ticket was lodged with OPEL but Platform had failed to date to respond to the said ticket.I have called Opel SA numerous times to get this resolved, and only today I was organised a car , however I was requested that I pay a deposit of R 2 500 refundable deposit, of which I have told Opel that i do not have such a deposit and have no means of getting such a deposit , of which one of the female agents told me that it's not their problem, If i do not pay that deposit , I am refusing the help they are offering me and they are already paying R 1 000 odd for the car hire and I should be grateful, After i have told them that I am a single mom with 3 kids whose only mode of transport is the car that has been with the dealer for the past week, I rely on lifts from strangers to get my kids to school, where we still need to pay them , even though we don't get dropped off at school directly. I then further have to find a way from the school to the CBD where i can get public transport to work - (16 KM away). When getting on one of the lifts, we were verbally assaulted and dragged out of the vehicle by one of the Taxi association people, work and school bags in tow as we are not allowed to use other vehicles. This incident has left us so traumatised, that my kids and I walk an hour home in the afternoon. I have reached out to Opel on instagram, called Opel SA but they have merely told me that my affordability is not their problem and they have stopped responding to me on instagram. They are refusing to assist with the non affordability of the deposit and there are also not attending to the vehicle. Their service is really terrible and they have no care about their customers.

I phoned 4 dealers (Westvaal Menlyn, Wiliams Hunt in Midrand and Fourways, and Opel Sandton) listed on the Opel SA website for parts for an Opel Tigra 2006. None of the dealers have parts and will not order parts for older Opel model vehicles. They all confirmed that the do not support older Opel vehicles. This is just shocking.

I bought an Opel Crossland 1.2T Edition this year (2024) for a "bargain" price of R360 000. It only had 100km on the clock—demo Model. A month later my wife decided that she would rather stick to her first choice of vehicle, a Jeep Renegade. I tried to trade in the vehicle with an Opel Dealer, to trade it and pay for a Jeep Renegade (Also sold under the Stellantis Group). To my surprise, the dealer just shrugged his shoulders and said he didn't want my spotless Opel. He can maybe give me half the price (R260 000). My Opel only has 1000km on the clock and retails for R439,000. I took this issue up with the Stellantis group, customercareza@stellantis.com. They just advised to to speak to the same branch manager, who still did nothing. Then after emailing them again, I received a phone call from an uneducated, poor English-speaking lady, not understanding a word I told her. That's it, emails, phone calls, no aftersales support. The Opel brand will probably be closing down soon due to poor support, poor aftersales, and poor communication. I'm sitting with an Opel which I don't want!!! but have to keep, otherwise, I will lose thousands. I decided to start a campaign now, to warn other South Africans to stay away from Opel.
