Appreciation Review for excellent service
5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I want to give a huge thank you to Oro Jewelers, especially Deron, for the outstanding job done on repairing my wedding ring. The service was excellent from start to finish — professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. When I received the ring, I was speechless. It looked absolutely stunning — polished, shiny, and restored to perfection. Deron’s attention to detail and craftsmanship really showed, and I’m so grateful for the care taken with such a meaningful piece. If you're looking for quality work, trustworthy service, and true artistry, I highly recommend Oro Jewelers based in Hyde park Johannesburg. Thank you again, Deron, for bringing my ring back to life.

Exceptional service and amazing quality
Exceptional service and exceptional quality. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They consistently assist me with my rings and watches and provide me with my items on a timely basis.

Appalling customer service and anger management issues
I am nothing short of astounded at the poor treatment I received at this store. I took my pearls in for restringing and the person who helped me said he would send them to his ‘pearl lady’ and get back to me with designs for clasps. After 4 days I hadn’t heard anything back so I called and asked him to get back to me with the plan for my pearls. 24 hours later I had not received any response, so I phoned again, this time a bit irritated, and asked again that he phone me. He did this time, and as I was in theatre operating, spoke to the anaesthetist I was working with. I say speak, but he screamed at her, disregarding her trying to tell him that I would phone back later, as I was operating. She eventually had to put the phone down on him he was screaming so much. Then followed no less than 5 phone calls that I still couldn’t answer. When I had finished operating I phoned back. He screamed at me for 3 minutes on the phone and I could not get one word in. He then slammed down the phone on me. Needless to say, I collected my pearls the next morning and will certainly never go back. The owner of this store has no idea of customer service, and has anger management issues. I am warning my entire network of contacts to stay away. I’m not sure how they are still in business.

GREAT AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE
I lost my wedding ring and I claimed through my insurance (Momentum Insurance). They allocated ORO HYDE PARK JEWELLERS to assist with my ring. I was assisted by Mr. Shai Lipman. Oh my goodness, the professionalism that he has ( and I believe it's al the consultants in the store). From assisting with designing the ring right up to even to the extent of delivering it to my house. I AM SO SO HUMBLED BY THE HUMILITY,FRIENDLINESS AND PROFESSIONALISM THAT Mr SHAI has. I'M A HAPPY CLIENT. They really represent the vision of their business. And my wedding ring came out very beautiful, breathtaking. Thank you Momentum Insurance. You couldn't have chosen the best Jewellers to handle my claim. I'M A HAPPY CLIENT. And my wedding ring came out very beautiful, breathtaking.

Thank you to the Lipman family for the great customer service and timeous responses to my queries. Thank you for cleaning my jewellery so beautifully and for updating my valuation certificates, for fixing my wall clock, and for replacing the pearl on the ring I inherited from my grandmother. awesome service
My Family were held up and harmed in an armed robbery not to long ago.<br> our insurance company put us on to Cathy Lipman and her family at Oro Hyde Park jewellers .<br> I must say the service was brilliant and they really empathise with what has happened to the family. Cathy came out a few times and saw my mom and my missus at our home, we went to their shop once and everything was organised and delivered and whatever needed to be changed and or sized was done with a smile. I would recommend their services to anyone who needs a good experience.<br> many thanks Oro Hyde park jewellers and well done , very professional compassionate company.
