Light bulb flicking
I bought the normal round light bulb on the 5th of May 2025 . Yesterday in the 11th June 2025 the light is flicking and switching off, I called to complain and to tell them know that I lost my receipt. The lady said it's fine I should go to the store and tell them to replace the light. But in reality that will never work out, they will take me from pillar to post because Firstly they don't know her. I told her that maybe she must write an email to them and se said she doesn't have any connection with the store. So how will I go there while she doesn't have any connect with the store and clearly they don't know her so how will they believe me

Perceived False Advertising
First issue is that it is impossible to reach osram SA by phone. When phoning you are greeted by a computer. This lists a bunch of people you can connect with. Big joke. Once you have selected person you wish to speak to SURPRISE you met with another computer instructing you to leave a message. Unfortunately nobody contacts you back so all hopes of speaking to a human at Osram is dashed. No otherway to contact them. All i wanted to report to them is that they appear to be engaging in gross false advertising. Reason i say this is i purchased an osram light bulb estimating 45000 hours life expectancy. My bulb lasted a poultry 2100 hours. So to get some sort of answers for such a huge difference in life expectancy will in all probability remain a mystery. Needless to say I no longer purchase osram products, rather opting for alternative brands. Hopefully someone from Osram sees this and responds.

OSRAM nightbreaker not up to its reviews
I purchased a set of Osram H4 night breakers to replace my bulbs in my motorcycle Shop Autozone in Ottery said it will make a mager difference so I paid R 345 for them However they are no brighter than my standard cheap h4 bulbs I was using. They say I cannot return it and i Find that unfair as they are not brighter at all

Poor service - lack of response
I recently purchased a set of Osram Nightbreaker head lamp bulbs for my car. These bulbs come at a hefty premium but based on excellent online reviews I made the purchase. To my dismay I found they were no better than the cheap bulbs from my local automotive spare shop. I contacted Osram Head Office in Midrand and was informed the Executive in charge was out of the country on business, but I could email him directly. He would surely respond in a few days. Well this was almost 2 months ago and no answer from him.
