Full marks to a little country hospital
Last week I was visiting Arniston when I slipped and fractured my wrist. I was taken to the Otto du Plessis hospital in Bredasdorp where I received excellent treatment. The hospital is spotlessly clean. The friendly administrative staff opened a file for me quickly and efficiently from behind a protective glass window. My arm was x-rayed within an hour and I was then seen by a doctor who sedated me and put the arm into a plaster cast. I was asked to return the next day for a follow-up x-ray to check that the bones were aligned - which they were. I was extremely impressed with the efficiency, professionalism, cleanliness and level of care at this little country hospital. Full marks and grateful thanks to them.
