Oxy-gen is taking nearly 2 weeks to do a reversal of a transaction based on my previous post on this site! See correspondence from Oxy-gen below: Dear Mr Lange Your post on Hello Peter is not an accurate reflection of the conversations between you and Veronique. It is clear that you have given her the go ahead to claim for a portable concentrator. We acknowledge that we do not have any Whatsapp records of Veronique confirming the price to you, However Veronique claims that she presented the price to you via telephone. We acknowledge towards the end of June you instructed for the portable concentrator to be cancelled. On 30 th June these instructions were send to our GEMS receivables Controller for Reversal of this claim. We will continue to investigate the calls Veronique had with you. In the interim instructions for this claim reversal will be effected Please contact me if you have any other questions. This is pathetic service to say the least!

My wife was admitted to hospital with a lung issue. Her attending doctor arranged with Oxy-Gen to supply her with a machine for home use when discharged. I (patient's husband) was contacted by Veronique from Oxy-gen to make arrangements for the oxygen machine to be delivered. This was done on 27 June 2025 and everything went according to plan. During my interaction with Veronique, she mentioned that our medical aid ( GEMS) also provides us with benefits for the purchase of our own oxygen machine-under apparatus benefits. I then told her to go ahead and get back to me. Next thing we knew and we get a message from our medical aid informing us that an amount of R42000-00 came from our Apparatus Benefits. Veronique never submitted the quote to us except to inform me that GEMS accepted our claim. I immediately contacted her and told her that this was unacceptable . I instructed her to reverse the claim/transaction. This was never done in spite of correspondence to the following staff at Oxy-Gen: 1 Veronique ( Sales Agent) who then started giving me a cold shoulder. 2. I then escalated matters to Shadley (Regional Supervisor) who completely ignored me. 3. I then contacted Lisa at Head office who despite making promises and apologies still left things unattended. Sad to say the matter still remains unresolved and even though we contacted GEMS they decided not to get involved. We have never received the machine up to this day and we now cannot purchase a much needed apparatus to aid my wife with her Sleep Apnea.

I cannot commend the service from Oxy-Gen enough. Our machine failed last night and I called the office at 7.30am this morning. I had a replacement machine by 10.00am. No hassles or hoops to jump through. The technician even gave advice and clearly understands the panic of customers with a non-working machine. Please continue with this fantastic service!!!

This company supplies oxygen rental to people who need oxygen to survive from day to day we needed such oxygen., so the Doctor at Baragwaneth hospital arranged it for us. on delivery we had to Pay R894 plus R330 for the actual oxygen total R 1144 which on the 26 December was a huge chunk out of our finance as sassa only pays out after the end of the month. we opened the package as well as the seal on the cylinder to assemble it for use unfortunately the patient has to rushed to hospital again before even using one breath. he subsequently passed away without coming our of hospital , we contacted the company to come and collect the equipment and enquired about a refund and we told that there was no refund the oxygen was contaminated. at no time did they tell on delivery that that would be the case or we would have left it the oxygen was R330 but there is no refund on the Initial R 894 even though they took it all back It was not Company policy. These peop;e pray on the vunerable and poor by not explaining the terms knowing that they are not in any position to fight for what is right. PLEASE CHECK BEFORE YOU USE THEIR SERVICES THEY ARE THIEVES.

My late sister hired an oxygen machine from Oxy-med but passed away on 12 July 2021. I cancelled the contract verbally and in writing a day or two after her passing and requested Oxy-med to come and collect the machine on numerous occasions. Proof of this is at hand. Her husband cancelled her subscription on the medical aid but somehow Oxy-med manage to switch the billing for the Oxygen machine to his name (he does not need this machine), without a prescription or authorization. This funds were taken from his savings account at the medical aid. . When he needed medical care this year, he found all his savings were used up. because Oxy-med took money from his savings without authorization. Oxy-med was informed of that, and at long last only collected the machine from him on 2 August 2022. I was informed that he will be refunded, but up to date nothing happened. My numerous emails, whatsups and telephone calls are now ignored, and in the meantime Mr. Swarts must pay all his medical tests out of his pocket, something he as a pensioner cannot afford. I really tried my best on at least a weekly basis to sort out this problem, and have his funds returned to the medical aid, but to no avail. I see now there are also other unhappy customers. Terrible service and so frustrating:(

Good afternoon, I have an account with the oxygen air product company where they gave me the home oxygen machine, on the 10th May the machine was not working, I phone the company to explain the situation the guy on the side his name Deon said they dnt have the drivers at the time wich was around six in the morning, and he told me he can only sent someone during the day, and I told him it can't be during the day cause my wife rely on that machine, and now he changed the story and said if I want someone to come immediately they going to charge me R400, wich I said I will not pay cause my understanding is their company is 24hours,i had to tell him that if anything can happen to my wife I am going to sue their company, once I said that he said he ll sent the driver wich was at the house within an hour, but the problem dnt stop there 5 days after they dropped the other machine it also stopped working, I had to call their company for almost two hours cause the number was only ringing, and I decided to call one of their drivers cause I have his number, and he told me that he's not at work I mst call the office, I explained my situation to him and he told me that he can't help me, I begged him to give me one number of the driver that is at work but he declined, after we managed to get someone from the office I was told that they can only deliver the other machine after four in the afternoon, so for Saturday my wife has to b without the oxygen that she mst use for 24hiurs because of this company who dnt care for their customers, this is the baddest service someone can get from a big company like them

I had to deal with the ladies frim Oxy Gen this week, and just want to say thank you for your assistance that is above and beyond what I expected. Very good service, you can be proud Lizel, Claudette and everyone else, I do appreciate it a lot.
