I took my injured, old dog in on a Sunday morning. The attending vet administered pain medication and suggested that I see my regular vet should the problem persist. Not only that, but the vet in question misdiagnosed the problem. Disappointed with the lack of interest shown, given that I had read some positive reviews.

Sold me food that was marked "Not for resale" thereby profiting off samples. The item was also expired (two weeks past date). I called the practice to express my concerns and was shouted at by the "Practice Manager" and told that they had a fire a few months ago and I should accept their mistake. Also told me to feed my cat the expired food. She also told me I am welcome to complain to Royal Canin as the practice is a regular customer and no action will be taken.

I love coming to this vet. They are friendly, quick, helpful and affordable. Our cat has been injured twice and both times they cared for and healed him, were so kind to him and reassuring to my husband and I when we were so worried, and never charged for follow ups. Would highly recommend.

What a terrible experience. Decided to take my cat in for some grooming. Called the vet and got a quote. Told them the cat will have to be sedated. No problem they said.

My wife dropped the cat off this morning. Then got a call 30min later stating that they will not sedate the cat without a blood test.??? No price given.

Then 30min later, another call. They will not groom the cat under sedation, they will however do it if they put the cut under general sedation. Quote given R2000!

No thanks. I'll groom the cat myself. Fine come pick up you cat and bring R760 for the test. ***? Ripp off artists. If they werent going to do it in the first place, why demand blood tests etc.

My kitten Pepper whom is all of 8 weeks old lost her spring in her step and although was eating, drinking and performing her normal ablutions, just seemed to have taken on the traits of mimicking a sloth. I have to say its worrisome when bombarded with all types of doomsday thoughts when such a little thing is showing the symptoms of illness but its great when a professional Vet is not only friendly to the owner but to your fur companion as well! I love receiving great service, especially when it does require a friendly bedside manner that our medical service is seemingly in short supply of these days. Thanks to Palm Gardens Veterinary Clinic for the excellent service received and the friendly manner in dealing with clientele!!
