Traumatising
I left with sever ptsd after spending a month at Papillon. It took months of therapy to recover what I endured there. Most horrific gaslighting and controling environment ive ever exsperience. Would not recommend to anyone.

04 Sept 2023, 11:56Unfortunately, our rules are not for everyone – the above-named client entered into a highly inappropriate relationship with another client. We suspended her to another facility which Papillon paid for. Our rules are there to be respected for sake of everyone’s welfare. The entire house is put at risk if someone blatantly breaks the rules and refuses to comply. Sadly, this was the case here.

14 Sept 2023, 12:21Oh how the truth can be twisted. Papillon hacked into my whatsapp chats to see communications I had with another client. I was sent away prior to this engagement due to struggling with my eating disorder. I was forced into another centre and was not allowed to leave if I wanted to come back to Papillon. None of the residence I was with completed there full treatment because of the collective trauma. The house manager was highly inappropriate with us, breaching many boundaries. The centre is not registered with the health professionals counsil of South Africa leading them to be able to breach many guidlines and have no supervision over how the centre was run. Although I assume that to be planned as if the HPCSA was involved with place would have been shut down. On a final note Papillon was forced to shut their doors in Cape Town probably due to their ******* nature. This was a prayer answered as now less people will get hurt.
