The concept of Park and Ride is great and I've used them on other occasions with little problems. Their performance for the Goo Goo Dolls concert was atrocious though. All the communication received said the bus was leaving at 3pm. This time is also printed on our tickets. We only left at 4pm, despite the show starting at 4pm already, so there was no conceivable way we could see the start of the show we paid to see. Surely a shuttle service should attempt to have you in time for the relevant show and be transparent about their transport times? We waited from 14:20 to 16:00, knowing the show was starting as we waited. We ended up being an hour and a half late, arriving midway through the second act out of four. This was also not an isolated incident with our bus alone. Disappointing and unprofessional. Had there been honesty about the departure times, we would never have bought the tickets because we would've known we'd miss half the show. With prices as high as they are, Ubers would possibly be more affordable and definitely be more reliable. I posted a Google review and instead of the organizers attempting to rectify or even acknowledge the situation, I got a capitalized retort claiming my information is incorrect, as if my entire bus did not check and recheck our information as our time was wasted. I've actually been using Park and Ride for many years and now would be loath to do so again, what a terrible experience.

A horrible experience. I would never recommend anyone purchase a park and ride to FNB stadium. Firstly, the bus is extreme hot and old. They fill up that poor bus to the brim, and make the ppl inside boil in the interim. When you get to the stadium, the bus parks about 1.5kms away from the stadium and you have to walk. Sometimes there are no guards to protect the ppl. After the concert, total chaos. There was not one park and ride staff to assist us finding the location of the bus. Being bumped up and down from place to place, we could not even be told where the bus would be loading up to leave. Telephonic staff only sent the location of the bus 15 minutes before the departure time and it was too late by then. I would expect a refund for atleast half of my ticket, but I can see this is a very ****my organisation that only care about money and profit. Never again and will advise everyone to not support them. Much rather hire a van or take an Uber.

Recently purchased a park & Ride for the Chris Brown concert at FnB stadium. 1stly after sales service is poor, the number goes to voice-mail, the wtsapp gives u information instead of answering your questions. After the ticket purchase I received an email with information. It mentioned that no additional parking fees at Monte Casino is required which was false , we had to pay the normal parking ticket fee. This was only applicable to Mall of Africa. Secondly the email shared a departure time in table format of the last bus leaving at 60min after the concert whilst the text in the body if this email stated that the last bus will depart FnB at 22:30 , which the usher also reiterated. This caused us to miss almost 45min of the concert. The 1st bus departure was 22:30.The bus is a standard bus , not worth 250 rand & the trip itself was 1hour long one way which is normally 30minutes. The website is minimal very little information. After sales service even at the stadium itself, no help desk etc is minimal however there were many supervisors and ushers many have different stories. You will also go into the same lengthy ques as everyone else .

Had quite a bad experience with this evet. Had a good ride on the way to the event. Found our bus back easily with help of park and ride staff. Unfortunately on the way back the bus was hit by another vehicle with a possible drunk driver. This took place in CBD JHB. Not sure whom was to blame. Not satisfied with how the situation was handled. The bus driver left the bus and went to speak with the other driver. From inside the bus we heard a lot of screaming and swearing going on between the 2 drivers. The children on the bus was affected by this and started crying. The bus driver did not notify us of what was happening or any plans being made to help us get out of the situation. After about 30 minutes he entered the bus speaking in a very uncalm and hysterical way. Telling us that apparently the keys of the bus have been taken by the other driver. The other driver was also apparently refusing to exchange any details. He then left the bus again with the passenger door wide open. After some time some of the passengers took it into their own hands and got off the bus to hear what was going on. They came back and told us there is another bus on its way. I wasn't sure how true this was. Some of the passengers left with an uber. We all felt unsafe. After a full hour the bus driver got back in the bus and said we could leave. Upon arrival at East Rand Mall I was hoping some personnel would be there to at least apologize but there was nothing of the sort. The parking lot was almost empty and dark. I do not blame the driver for the accident as I understand accidents happen but feel the situation could have been better handheld. No apologies or any word from park and ride about the inconvenience is unacceptable.

Utterly unreliable. The loading off to master jam started with the problems, you book for two with a 8 year old. No space , minor had to sit alone on the bus on one seT and me on another. Bus driver got lost, did not know were to drop off, no pick up afterwards, run aroundd in the dark with 8 year old. Then on the way back driver asks me direction to the drop of place. Staff , cannot understand there own directions. I do maps , and surveying for a living, so directions is my fortei. Never again.

If I could give a 0 star I would. You pay R283 per person and then things are so unorganized. You receive an email of which entrance you need to get the bus (Tygervalley). We got there and NO BUS!. We eventually phoned the JHB number given to us and they advised the entrance number had change. NO sms was received about the change in entrance. So we had to get into our cars to drive to a different entrance. Then you are promised FREE undercover parking, but the entrance changed so no undercover parking. You are also advised that it is a short distance to walk to the venue once dropped off. Short???? OMW I could have walk from home to the venue. Definitely not short. I logged a complaint via email and no response. I logged a complaint on Facebook - no response. They are making false promises just to get you to buy a ticket. Uber would have been cheaper and would have dropper you off in front on the venue. What gets to me is the fact that they do not have the decency to even respond to your complaint. They have your money now, so why bother. I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN!

Fantastic service on our way to the Ed Sheeran concert - so efficient and organised. Our trip back, however, was much less desirable. After the concert finished at 10:30, we were waiting for buses to collect us to return us to the Dome for over 2 hours as people who had not booked the buses were allowed on without checking. With over 300 people left stranded until almost 1am, we were finally rescued by the Gautrain buses that were running much more efficiently. There should have been allocated and marked areas for each destination, as well as crowd control. And please, ensure that those getting on these buses have indeed paid for a ticket. I'm afraid we won't be using your service again.
