Earlier this week I visited the Table view Mall in Cape Town whilst waiting fir a family member a female employee left the shop to have a conversation with a friend at the next door fraquance shop whilst being there fir a while she coughed at least three times without even trying to hold an elbow or cover over her mouth she continued to wipe her face with her hand walked in and out of the coffee shop stood at the counter and touched various surface and or items I have visited this establishment various times but never will I ever because those hand touch the cutlery the food that we have to eat 🙈

I regularly support the N1 city store when purchasing beans or teas. I was gifted with a bag of coffee beans and my grinder had broken so i made the trip to the store confident that they would (at a fee) grind my beans as it was in a sealed bag and could not in any way contaminate their grinder. I was told no! No reason or excuse, just No - asked to speak to the manager and her behaviour was very unprofessional. She didn't even bother to give me an explanation but turned away after the sales lady explained to her that I wanted to escalate it. I was then asked if i would buy a grinder ?? Well that is the very last time i will support this store and. Its really sad that this service could not be offered but even worse is the poor customer service from the person in charge. I understand if they are not allowed to do it but at least show some damn empathy.

Our expectations were exceeded when Thabiso Sekoati took the time to explain the coffee, beans, appliances and coffee accessories to us in great deal. Sure, the coffee was amazing, without a doubt, however, Thabiso made a cup of coffee into an experience from which we learned a lot.

Brilliant products and service. I ordered coffee and accessories online on a Sunday, and got door delivery in Mossel Bay on Wednesday three days later. Coffee excellent and accessories are very useful. A pleasure doing business with Pea****. Well done!!

Bought a Krups coffee grinder. Returned it in the original box and unused the following day as the info regarding the specs given by the saleslady were incorrect. Were told that they do not give refunds. Spoke to a Mr Brown at their headoffice. He told me in a very aggressive and unhelpfull way that this is their policy. Be aware when bying something at any of their stores!

Bought a Krups coffee grinder. Returned it in the original box and unused the following day as the info regarding the specs given by the saleslady were incorrect. Received a 58mm tamper as a Xmas gift, I have a delonghi manual pump espresso machine and the baskets are 51mm, got the receipt from my brother in law, who doesn't know there are different sizes. Went in this morning, 27/12/20 to see what size options they have. Only 58mm, on their site as well. This was the n1 store. Manager informed me they can offer me a voucher, I asked for a refund rather. Now, they say they don't offer refunds at all, my receipt is barely 10 days old, item is in original packaging unused bought on the 19/12/20. What the hell. The epitomy of scaly merchants. Manager Janice called the owner Michelle for me, who decided to tell me how that's their policy and its totally legal blah blah blah, uninterested in even offering to find a 51mm just insists I can take a voucher or throw the item away. Disgusting service and policies. To further show how dishonest the owner is, the website clearly states that a refund will only be given if the item is returned, unused, in periodical packing, within 14 days. All boxes checked on my side. The refund policy on the site also makes no mention of whether or not it pertains to the online shop only, therefore it is non compliance and false information on Michele's part. I've always supported pea**** as I'm pretty much against global corporate monopolies like "star money". Sadly I will never spend a cent there again and will certainly take a fair amount of customers with me. I will be contacting the ncc to file a complaint against this underhanded company.
