The agent (Tebogo) was very helpful with everything, not to mention he even went as far as asking taxi drivers on how to get taxi’s to where I work. You can never need miss him whenever you need him. The big tree estate is awesome too, the securities were helpful with everything even with helping me get my stuff upstairs, never had issues also with getting access because they are friendly people. I love it here already

I recently worked with Tebogo from Big Tree Property during my apartment search, and I couldn't be more impressed with his service. Even though I didn't meet all the pre-requirements for the application, Tebogo remained incredibly professional and went out of his way to assist me. He arranged for a convenient pickup from my workplace to view the apartments, ensuring everything fit seamlessly into my schedule. Not only did he make the viewing process smooth and informative, but he also got me back to work on time without any hassle. His dedication to providing top-notch customer service truly stood out—highly recommend Tebogo for anyone looking for a helpful and reliable property expert!

I would like to sincerely compliment Tebogo Rammego for his outstanding service. Within less than three days, he assisted me in finding a suitable place to stay, and I am truly impressed by his efficiency, professionalism, and dedication throughout the process. Tebogo made what could have been a stressful experience smooth and effortless, handling everything with great attention to detail and clear communication. I truly appreciate his commitment and highly recommend him to anyone in need of reliable assistance.

If you're planning on moving into Big Tree Estate be prepared to experience power and water outages every now and again, be preprepared to pay ridiculously inflated rates for electricity, be prepared to have poor cellphone network connectivity throughout your stay and be prepared to only get one third of your deposit when you move out because they first make you sign an acknowledge that you will pay R1795 for the cleaning and painting of the unit even if the walls have no visible damage or how clean the unit is during the inspection. Then they later charged me an additional R1120 which they say they charged R1000 for moving after 12pm on the last of the month(which is still within the month that paid the full months rent for mind you) which is something that wasn't stated on the lease agreement, the handbook/welcome pack or any official documentation. They claim the R120 is for changing light bulbs which i know that the didn't change because i made sure that I replaced all bulbs that needed replacing before moving out. So they'll always find a plausible excuse to deduct as much money as they possible can from your deposit.

My honest advice: If you have other options, consider them before choosing Big Tree Estate. While there are a few positives, my overall experience was disappointing—and two major issues stand out: 1. Noise: The walls are paper-thin. You hear everything from your neighbours, which makes working from home very difficult. The complex has a constant “party” vibe, especially on weekends. If you value peace and quiet or are a light sleeper, this place isn’t for you. 2. Deposit refund process: There was no incoming inspection—just a checklist (snag list) I had to complete and email. I did this thoroughly, noting all existing issues, including smudges on the walls. At the exit inspection, my list wasn’t used. Instead, they brought a new sheet, claimed I’d be charged for painting, and ignored my evidence. Despite raising the issue via email immediately, I received my refund with the deduction still app****. If you have no other alternative and must move in, insist on an official inspection before moving in—the agents don’t volunteer this info. Final tip: Read the reviews. Everyone’s experience is different, but mine has been frustrating, and I wish I’d looked into it more beforehand.

Actually would like to give a 1 star but am unable to do so.On Saturday I was moving out of unit 454 in Bigtree estate. The guy doing the exit inspection came and stated that I would be charged for repainting and cleaning the unit.I asked him why repainting as there was no damage to the walls, all there was were a few dirt marks due to normal wear and tear,he stated that the repaint all units on moving out,it was the policy. On objecting about the cleaning as I had cleaned the unit,he stated that all units were professionally cleaned on moving out, this was the policy.I decided to sign the exit inspection costs and he told me that then I couldn't leave.I told him that I was only signing cause me and my daughter were being held hostage and were in fear of our safety.I documented that I was signing as I was held hostage, signed and got out of there. I really don't mind paying for things when I'm told beforehand the costs involved, I feel that the way the company went about forcing me to pay by keeping me hostage was not right.

1 star is too much ,they deserve 0 stars.Today I was moving out of unit 454 after a 3 month lease.Apon the exit inspection I was told I would be charged for repainting the unit because of a few dirt marks on the wall when I told the guy its not damaged its just normal wear and tear which could be cleaned with a cloth he told me that it didnt matter and that all units get repainted everytime someone moves out and that I'd be charged regardless. The guy inspecting the unit furthermore told me that I'd be charged a cleaning fee even when I left the unit clean, he told me that all units are cleaned by professionals upon exiting of tenants. When I said I don't agree the guy told me I cannot leave till I signed.I told him he was holding me hostage and I signed and wrote on the document that I was signing because I was being held hostage and I felt unsafe cause I was also with my daughter. Pebblestone please don't rob people.Write on ur lease agreement that upon moving out we will charge you for this that and whatever else on moving out.Do not use underhand tactics and harassment and bullying to make money. We have the money and are willing to pay if told before hand, what you did today made me feel unsafe and violated. You are disgusted and should be ashamed of yourselves.
