I know this Arie Korff ****mer very well. I have all his details, including contact numbers & address. I'll assist those who want to prosecute him. This guy has very dark corners in his life. I wouldn't trust him as far as I can see him. As far as I know he is not even a registered estate agent anymore but still operates as one.

For the last two years I rented my house in Cape Town through PentaProp, which is owned by Arie Korf. The tenant has recently moved out but she cannot get hold of the Estate Agent, Arie Korf. He has stopped responding to our emails and whatsapp messages. This is a very frustrating time as the tenant is now demanding the rental deposit from me, even though Pentaprop is the one that sourced this specific tenant and all the monies were paid into their account. Please help !!!

I rented a property from KT KR Blouberg (Pty) Ltd Trading as PENTAPROP for 12 months and paid a deposit of R16 600.00, which was twice the standard monthly rent as required by the landlord. Upon vacating the premises, I followed all the necessary procedures, including providing proper notice and ensuring the property was in the same condition as when I moved in, with no significant damages. I left the rental unit in a condition that was even better than when I first moved in, ensuring it was thoroughly cleaned and well-maintained beyond the original state. My deposit was paid to KORF REALTY. According to the South African Rental Housing Act, a landlord is required to return the deposit (plus any interest) within 7 days if there are no damages, or within 14 days if repairs are needed. Unfortunately, despite repeated attempts to communicate, my deposit has not been returned fully within the legally required timeframe. I have reported the case to the Housing Tribunal of South Africa for further assistance. I am disappointed with the lack of communication and failure to comply with the law regarding the return of my deposit. This has caused unnecessary financial stress, and I hope Mr. Arie Willem Korf / PENTAPROP will address this issue in accordance with South African rental regulations. This review is factual, based on my experience, and refers to relevant legal obligations without making defamatory or exaggerated claims.

I used Pentaprop to manage my unit in Cape Town. When Arie asked me to replace the couches the tenant was complaining about, I wired R12,400 to their account. I was assured on several occasions that the couches were purchased and waiting at the supplier. A new tenant moved in with their own furniture. After a year of pressuring Mr Arie Willem Korf for either an invoice of the couches so I could contact the supplier for a refund, or a refund from Pentaprop, Arie said he spent the money on cleaning up the unit. I further pressured Arie for invoices and a breakdown on what the money was actually spent on and got ignored. Another scenario, I paid over R5,555 to settle outstanding rates and taxes which Pentaprop never paid, nor notified me that it was months behind. I had to find out from an old neighbour who was being threatened by a debt collection agency. Pentaprop then paid the rates and taxes from the rental income instead of the money I wired and it's been months now since I requested they refund the money with no luck. Since the new tenant moved in, they moved in with their own furniture and Arie was just like, btw, the new tenant is moving in with their own furniture, I've removed your furniture. Since this place was geared as an AirBnb before, it has everything from curtains to furniture to cutlery, to washing machine, dishwasher, etc. I've been trying to get a list things removed so I could send somebody to liquidate everything. Estimated cost of items removed is ~R40,000, maybe even more if I had to replace it. Since I had to fire Arie and Pentaprop, I've been trying to get them to transfer the tenant's deposit of R20,000 + interest to the new managing agent. So far I've been ignored. One of the things Arie claimed that was done during the cleanup of the unit was removing the dead air-conditioning unit. The new managing agent asked me yesterday what they should do with the dead air-conditioning unit. There are also complaints from the tenant about things Arie said he would fix that I was never notified about, nor was it fixed. 1: I want my R12,400 back 2: I want my R5,555 back 3: I want the tenant's R20,000 deposit + interest refunded 4: I want a list of what was removed and access to where it is stored so I can have it picked up and liquidated, or I'd be happy with R40,000 which should cover a portion of replacement cost of what was in the unit. I'll be pressing ***** charges if this is not resolved soon.

Don't Even Try To get service from this People, they are horrible and -10 Costomer services. Worst Nightmare. They request Payslips, Its A Credit Application not Renting. When You Refuse with Payslips They Cancel Your Order, Been 8 Days Today No refund received. It's a ****. I did Verification through your website, Smart ID images taken through your System, Selfie taken through your System, Linked my Banking Account through your System. Furthermore to doing that I went and open a Ticket, where l attached, two Bank statements from two different Banks. Also attached Confirmation of Employment, Issued by my Employer. After Sending All Those Documents, What is The Reason For Me To Send My Payslip If it is Not Credit Application? Then Because I am not Comfortable with Furnishing you with my PaySlip. You went and Cancel My Order.
