I am going through a terrible experience with Pest Man. I recently purchased a property after a month I found evidence of wood rot in the cover strips and the cornices. I called the conveyancing attorneys and asked them to put me in contact with the pest company that cleared the property. I contacted Pest Man and they confirmed that the inspection was done in November 2020 (the property went on my name in March 2021). They offered to reinspect the property at no cost to me. In the mean time I contacted other pest companies to get a second opinion. All of which said that the damage definitely predates the inspection of the property and if the inspection has been done properly the seller would have had to sort out the issues before selling. Rohan from pest man, when conducting the assessment, who is apparently a senior member of the company said that he cannot tell me who inspected the property nor did he have the inspection report of my property. He also said that the body corporate does not allow pest inspection companies access to the ceiling - which was not the case in my complex. When I asked him who gave your company the instruction to not go in my ceiling he could not answer me. I was flawed at this remark and phoned the owner of the company Jorrie Jordan. His attitude toward me was terrible and he actually hung up on me. I had to fit the cost of replacing my ceiling and cornices. Terrible experience that Pest Man helped make even worse. Do not recommend their services at all. Real estate agencies stay away from them. They do not know how to conduct business. I urge more people that have had this sort of crookery happen to them with Pest Man to voice their opinions.
