On the 26th of March 2022, I Soyiso Ethwell Msoki bought a G4KG 2.4, Hyundai H-1 engine. from PHONE-A PART (PTY)LTD, Company situated at the C/O Industrial and Mansfield Crescent Unit 17, Gordonsbay Industrial, their telephone number 0828267962/0812871081. This happened after seeing the engine advertised on Gumtree. I made a cash payment of R39999 on the 26th of March 2022. My H-1 Van was at Grobies Mechanic in George Southern Cape. The engine needed to be Couriered to George where my vehicle was. I paid +- R1500, for Courier expenses. The engine was Couriered to Grobies Mechanic in George and the Mechanic in George informed me when the engine arrived there. The Mechanic started working on fitting the engine into the vehicle when they realized that the engine was faulty. They informed me and I then informed the Company from where I bought the engine. (PHONE-A PART(PTY) LTD. The company phoned Grobies Mechanic in George and instructed the Mechanic to st******* the Cylinder head and take it to the engineers for it to be checked. The Mechanic did exactly that and it was discovered that on of the pistons was faulty. The engine had to be Couriered back in Gordonsbay. PHONE-A PART (PTY)LTD promised to be repairing the faulty engine and they sent it back to George again upon completing the repairs. Again when Grobies was busy fitting the engine into the vehicle they realized that the engine was still faulty. They phoned PHONE-A PART(PTY )LTD, company and they sent the Courier Company to fetch the engine from George and that was around September 2022. Up until today the company never brought back the engine to me or to the Mechanic in George. PHONE-A PART(PTY)LTD never even bothered to update me and I had to phone them all the time. I referred the matter to LegalWise who sent PHONE-A PART more than one letter of demands and the matter is now with the Motor Industry Ombudsman, they also phoned and sent an e-mail to PHONE-A PART(PTY)LTD, company and the company never responded to the Ombudsman. On of the owners of PHONE-A PART(PTY)LTD, company by the name Eddie, asked me when I was demanding my money today the 30th of August 2023, if I want him to put his company on Auction in order for him to pay my money. The guy is ruthless and does not care about his Customers. I took what happened to me as ******* because in a business transaction if the supplier fails to deliver the correct goods to the Customer the Customer is always entitled to a refund from the Supplier, which is not the case to me. I am now begging Eddie and Sallie the co-owners of PHONE-A PART(PTY)LTD company for my own money. They only managed to pay me R10000, out of R39999, that I paid for the engine I was buying from them only Eddie does is to disrespect me and keep making promises he never kept. So I want people to be careful when buying car parts from PHON-A PART (PTY)LTD company in Gordonsbay.
