After spending R 2400 to repair my Tag including a new battery, they weren't prepared to guarantee anything. Not the battery, not the labor, not the replacement parts, nothing. Also, when they quoted said repairs that I accepted, they were immediately available, only after I insisted that the replaced parts be returned with my watch that suddenly it took 8 weeks. They replaced the clasp that didn't need replacement. Me and the great guy at the TAG store adjusted the watch before we sent it in for just a battery replacement, and cleaning. All of a sudden it needs a new clasp and and and? (Without any warranty or guarantee ,as you only find out later)That also suddenly needs 8 weeks to replace because I wanted the replaced parts returned. TAG is not a serious brand. It's hype. I've seen guys online wearing their grand fathers watches from WWII, as in actual battle and..no hassle, no glitches No expensive repairs in almost 80+years and counting. Save your money. Don't buy a TAG

Since before the 22nd of August 2023 I have left my timepiece and been in contact with Wolf Brothers Clearwater and subsequently Picot and Moss regarding job number R37342, I had to pay a deposit for the repairs which was done and since then have heard nothing from either the store where I left my timepiece, nor the agent entrusted to do the repairs except for on the 28th of August 2023 to remind me that my watch requires spare parts which has been timeously ordered from our supplier, and the current delay is 4-6 weeks from date of confirmation.

My Tag Heuer watch was purchased in December 2019. Within the 1st month this watch was sent to Picot and Moss for adjustment/repair because it was inaccurate and losing time. After getting the watch back after 4 weeks , it was still losing time and I personally took it back to Picot and Moss for an adjustment to be made. Picot and Moss then repaired this watch for a 3rd time when the watch fell off the bedside table. (It took 3 months for this repair because the spare part had to be imported.) I got the watch back in May 2021. In December 2021, I was shocked when I realised that the adjustable knob of the watch was missing. On 11 January 2022 I again visited Picot and Moss to submit my watch for repair. I was promised an e-mail as proof of submission for this watch and also to inform me of their assessment of the watch. I have not yet received this e-mail.

After taking in my Tag Heuer AGAIN for repairs I get the response that the watch has been dropped. This has been "decided" on the number of "dents" and "scratches" on my so called timepiece. I had the watch fully serviced 12 months and a few days ago which cost about R9000.00 ($540.00) This included a push button replacement. The watch is old and has been used and abused as normal use. I do not keep the watch in cotton wool but use it as it was advertised. Strong and reliable. Over the period of owning this watch I have spent about six TIMES the cost of the original cost of the watch on servicing and repairs. This is a money making racket that should put all and sundry off purchasing a Tag Heuer watch in South Africa. I now plan to buy a reliable Japanese TIMEPIECE that are super reliable. SEIKO here I come

I have two TAGs one has an issue. The watch is a TAG Aquaracer 500m. The issue is as follows, the timing of it goes forward. I went to a specialist a service shop the only one TAG approved in Sofia, Bulgaria. I spent around 400lv which is 200 euro more of less. They told me that it spent 24 hours in a special machine that checks. After that i was told there is nothing wrong with the watch. Ironic! I set the watch and timed it, it fast forwards time. An hour for every 24 hours. I cannot get help and an answer from TAG Sofia, Bulgaria. I get told its fine haha. I would like to deal with head office or someone at a more senior level. It is a bit of a slap in the face for someone to charge me 400lv equivalent of around 200 euro for nothing and the watch to fast forward an hour for every 24 hours. And on top of it all to be told that there is nothing wrong. Kind Regards Iavor

Bought Tag Aquaracer in 2011. (WAF1112.2ba0801*RKR7661) 2015 battery was replaced, seals replaced, crown replaced and body refurbished. Watch never touched water, ever. 2016 bezel started presenting with rust. On review this year the finding was made that the whole watch must be refurbished, bezel replaced etc. R5000 quote later. A R30000 watch with 300m resistance shouldnt rust, especially with no contact to water whatsoever. Now I owe the R1500 for battery, crown, and seal replacement on a rusted watch. Never buy a Tag. Its Swiss rubbish.

I have a TAG Heuer watch which when starting acting up took it to the shop from which it was purchased (Wolf Brothers Clearwater Mall) and was told it needed to be serviced, for a significantly large fee I agreed and had the necessary done to rectify my watch to showroom condition. That was the first time and since then my watch has been back to the same store and servicing agent as recently as Sunday for the 3rd time, every time to be told it needs to be re-calibrated and some pins or something changed. For a quality timepiece to have to go into an agent four times in roughly a year seems to me more than just a calibration issue. I too have mailed the agent as well as the store and again wait for a response from either, the store confirmed they would come back to me as well as the only agent in South Africa however post phoning them to reiterate my complaint fobbed off saying they will look into it and revert back ... four days later I still wait. Being that it is a TAG Heuer and quite a prestigious brand, certainly in my mind, to have the service and response to a fourth complaint merely overlooked and taken in their stride for me is an insult and I will be taking it up with TAG Heuer head office too online.
