Absolutely disgusting services from everyone. Very rude and unempathetic staff who aren't willing to answer questions. Came for a pick up and got sent to different places for the ashes. When we finally got help no one knew where they were. Got an unlabeled box after waiting for a while. No one was willing to inform us what was happening and left us in the dark. Box is damaged, untidy paint job and full of scratches. No waiting areas and you are forced to stand outside to wait. ONCE AGAIN unhelpful, rude, ***********, no empathy and horrible service and people. DO NOT RECOMMEND. save yourself a lot of emotional stress and go somewhere else

Pinetown Funeral Services will definitely not assist family members if you need additional letters to claim on a funeral policy. They don't even have a company e-mail address, for plausible deniability. PFS gave the only copy of DHA form to my estranged brother. Banks demand the DHA form OR a letter, to pay out on a paltry funeral policy. I have spoken to, and messaged Christopher Moodley (who represents PFS) and sent formal e-mail requests to his e-mail to no avail. I am handicapped and in hospital. I want PFS to e-mail me a stamped letter saying they transported my mothers body and cremated the remains. I have provided ample proof of lineage. The attending physician provided me a letter without a problem.

I had an absolutely awful experience dealing with Brandon from the Durban branch. He did not explain anything to us in the start. When there was asked of him to tell us which documents he needs to go get a death certificate. He stated that it’s not his job to tell us which paperwork he needs. Take not. We have never lost anyone in our lives and it’s great first time we’ve had to get a death certificate. After this he then changed his story saying he did give us the information. He was rude and disrespectful throughout the entire thing and ended with having a nameless death certificate that doesn’t even have my babies gender on it and we gave him the birth certificate with all this info. Like she wasn’t even a person The box my 6 day old baby came is in ********** condition and when asked about it , it was ignored until he finally said he could just put it in a packet … take note we paid for the services upfront… and they have still not given us an invoice. I am disgusted. You would think that he has a lil bit of compassion . When I started getting mad and rude back then I was being emotional and he would rather speak to my husband a male ! THIS MAN SHOULD NOT BE WORKING WITH FAMILIES WHO HAVE JUST LOST PEOPLE … He hasn’t shown the slightest bit of sympathy . He was impatient from the start as if we should know exactly what to do even though we’ve never been through this.

A humbling and heart wrenching life experience of the loss of a loved one...an experience no one wants to encounter. Mr Clive Moodley was helpful and considerate throughout the funeral arrangements of a loved one. The result was a dignified and eloquent statement that in the living and in death...we are all one. I beg anyone who doesn't have a burial policy to please consider getting one as funerals are very expensive.

My gran has a funeral cover policy with Pinetown Funeral Burial club,031 401 4760. She has been with them since 2012 and been making payments monthly. Recently i have been enquiring on her behalf if all payments are up to date, and i am still waiting for answer, i called two weeks ago , spoke to Christopher , he advised he needs to check and call me back, still waiting for his call, today i spoke to a very rude and incompetent woman named Vanessa who said bluntly\ i need to check and doesnt your gran know if payments are up to date
