I am Disgusted by Plp group in Randburg, with the Hr and Payroll, I started working for PLP Group in the year 2023 and resigned. I then returned this year to rejoin the company as a Sales Consultant selling a Sanlam product. I had to debate long emails for them to release by basic salary, On top of that when you in the process of training the pay you rate per sale during training however when it is close to our pay day we are then informed that we were supposed to have reached a certain bracket to earn commission and in my knowledge of working there is that they pay rate per sale during the month of training which was also confirmed from the Hr manager Lindiwe earlier today. I am not the only one we are a group that started our training together. They ended up paying me R1461.00 for an entire month

Good day So I went for an interview on 05/02/2025. I was there for about 6 hours going through the different phases of the interview which they conducted in groups. As we went on some people fell out who seemed to have been unsuccessful. After the whole process was completed we were sitting in a boardroom and the HR assistant came in called our names and congratulated us that we've been successful in the job selection. They then made us sign consent forms for checks to be done. I was honest about the record on my name to the HR personell and explained why there is a record on my name and that I'm still attending court for the past year to get this case dismissed for something I didn't do and once it is dismissed I'll retain a police clearance certificate. HR said they'll discuss and will get back to me the following day. It took them almost a week and they returned my call on 11/02/2025 telling me that unfortunately they cannot send me an offer, if the case was a long time ago they could've considered. Yet I was completely honest and which company professionally says you're successful in an interview when they haven't conducted their checks yet? Very unprofessional service. Having people's hopes up just to go back on their word. They definitely don't live up to their values as a company because where's the integrity in what they did?

Working at PLP has been the most stressful experience of my career. Unfortunately, the company lacks opportunities for personal and professional growth, and there is a noticeable absence of support from management. One of the major concerns is the company's reliance on cheap labor from around the world to provide customer service. This often results in agents being subjected to demanding hours without adequate compensation or consideration for work-life balance. Agents are treated more like expendable resources than valued team members, with little regard for their well-being. Additionally, ******** appears to be prevalent within the company. Furthermore, my personal experience with termination highlights systemic issues within the company. Despite facing ****** from a client and attempting to address the situation professionally, I was met with swift punishment. The lack of support and understanding from management was disheartening, and I was terminated without notice or opportunity for recourse. It felt as though my contributions and humanity were disregarded entirely. During my tenure at HelloFresh, I never received any warnings or performed poorly in terms of key performance indicators (KPIs). Yet, my termination seemed arbitrary and unjust given the circumstances.

PLP Group should investigate their current management staff in their inbound call centre based in Randburg. This is disgusting behaviour!! and utterly appaling, they will dish out warnings for no reasons. Employees are handled based on personal opinions from the management staff. They take advantage of the staff in their inbound call centre and treat them as if they are of no value.
