Not what it used to be
Initially the service was fast and fantastic. Greg has been great and goes above and beyond. Unfortunately the turnaround time has slowed since the pandemic. However lockdown is over and service turnaround has never recovered. Parcels take at least 10 days to make their way to you if not longer. The cost have increased and there is no transparency as far as the import duties go as the invoice is generated by PBC, they don’t forward the original documentation from customs. After supporting them for years and running into issues countless times with their being unable to import anything considered “hazardous” (basically any cosmetics that contain alcohol) they have not partnered with a courier service that ship these resulting in unreturnable wasted purchases. A progressive business hears its customer needs and adapts, for PBC it has regressed.

Fast, efficient and reliable service.
I don't import as much as I used to, because customs has become greedy and irritating. But when I do, I make use of this company to consolidate shipments at one depot and send them to SA. Just imported a batch of parcels after a long break, and am once again impressed with PBCX service. No, they aren't dirt cheap. But they aren't unreasonable either. They are fast, efficient and reliable. Got my stuff within 4 days of shipping, and will use them again. Thanks guys, appreciate your service and will continue to do so until we one-day have an efficient post office, which will be never.

PBC does it again!!!
Yet again, the team at Postbox-Courier delivers. As a client of them for several years, the last year must have proven extremely difficult for many buyers of overseas goods considering certain limitations. Never did I ever have to worry about my packages being lost or delayed without being informed as to what was going on. It is very understandable that flights are limited, but this has not stopped PBC to deliver and keep their promises. This is my second parcel delivery for 2021 and they have been top notch yet again. The super-friendly Micaela is always available to assist; she makes me feel important as a client. Their fees are very reasonable when you consider the current climate too. I would recommend it to anybody who wants to import items safely and without any concerns about customs etc or hidden charges. Thank you to everybody who works so hard at ensuring my prized packages reach me safely. A+++ to them all!

PBC does it again!!!

Undelivered Package
I have been using PostBox Courier frequently and for some time with no problem. Now their phones do not answer, emails are not attended to and a package has not been delivered after 3 months apparently stuck in SA customs.

Best local importing courier service by far!
I've been dealing with PBC for a few years now and want to compliment the team members Micaela and Gary. I've imported items from all over the world and every time my packages arrived safe and sound. The charges are very affordable and their turn around time is exceptional. True often customs in SA take a while to clear parcels, but the moment that is is released PBC is on the ball with how quick they ship it and send you the final import costs. These guys make shopping overseas very pleasant. In the past I've had to wait 6 weeks to 6 months for items to arrive; and very often, they never did! But since I discovered PBC I can shop with confidence. Thank you guys, your friendly service is a delight. I especially commend Micaela who has been very helpful with my most recent parcel from New York, guiding me and assisting every step of the way. You won't regret signing up. Postbox - Courier is amazing!
I have recently made use of Postbox -Courier for delivery of my first overseas purchase and the service that I received from Gary and the team has far exceeded my expectation. The manner in which they go about with there business is like a 'well oiled machine', delivery was fast and smooth. Great affordable service
I know they don't answer the phone often, but I have gotten through a couple times and Gary is always friendly and informative. I have received a number of laptops from USA using their service and it has always been fast and cheaper than DHL, I got a local tracking number once it got to South Africa and customs clearance was quick. Price for value unmatched, thanks PostBox

Post Box Courier SA closed down!!
BEWARE!!, it seems this company has closed down. My parcel was rejected by their depot in NY, USA for re-shipment to SA after my pre-alert was on accepted on their website. No answer on any of their lines, no reply to messages. I now have to pay double freight costs to ship to SA directly.
