Think Twice
My experience with Power Butler is not the best. Please think before you make use of this company. I ordered myself new panels, new battery and a mounting kit for the panels. I received the battery within 3 days, and this is where the issue started. After various back and forth and about three weeks later I received my panels. At about five days after my purchase I was told that the delay is at the warehouse where the mounting kit got damaged, I was billed R 4500 for the mounting kit. The owner mentioned that he will replace this with a no rail KDS mounting kit, so that I can get my delivery. I thought wow, but then 2 weeks later I got my order. Sadley the design of the no rail kit was done wrong by their agents and I had to go pick up 4 end clamps at another supplier. To my surprise, I ended up paying R35 per end clamp at the other supplier. I did the math's, and quickly realized that they charged me about R4500 for a mounting kit that was barely worth R 1000. They did refund me the shipping of R500 and gave me a R500 voucher that I will never use, still leaving them with more than a 300% markup on these rails. On request to have the amount credited to me, it was responded that the margin was to cover the design team that specked the install kit. So R 3000, to have someone look at a photo and do an incorrect spec. Man, not even the labor for a 6 hour install on the panels was R3000. Totally ridiculous. Please think twice before you do business with Power Butler.
