Dreadful experience with Presidential Kids
I had a playhouse built by Presidential Kids, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely frustrating from start to finish. Communication was poor throughout the process — I was rarely updated on progress, and timelines were consistently changed without a heads up. The level of professionalism left much to be desired. I was initially sent a used, dirty, cracked slide for the playhouse, which I had to request to be replaced (despite the owner saying she noticed this.) Even then, the new slide wasn’t properly installed — the team attempted to leave without securing it to the structure. During the initial installation, I was told the process would take 40 minutes, but it ended up taking several hours, running extremely late into the evening and disrupting our family dinner time. The owner, Takiira, was particularly difficult to deal with. Her tone and attitude made me feel as though she was doing me a favor rather than providing a paid service, despite being significantly overpriced versus other providers. Before the job was even complete, she repeatedly followed up about the balance payment, which felt premature and inappropriate given the delays and unresolved issues at the time. The final playhouse output has still holes everywhere, left paint on my house walls and leaves me questioning if it is in face secure for kids to play on. While the final playhouse is somewhat acceptable in terms of output, the emotional toll, delays, and lack of professionalism made the entire experience deeply unpleasant. The owner does not seem to have experience with effectively dealing with customers, professionalism or even building playhouses. She does not prioritise quality of output but rather chases payment and prioritises her own schedule. My recommendation is that if you are looking for something like this to be built, you select a business that won’t keep you up at night wondering if you’ve been ****med, and gives you a good outcome that is aligned with expectations.

I've had the pleasure of working with Takiira at Presidential Kids on numerous projects, and I can confidently attest that she has never misled or ****med us. In fact, she has consistently gone above and beyond, demonstrating her commitment to excellence. Her dedication is evident in her willingness to work tirelessly, often until midnight, to ensure projects are completed on time. I've been impressed with the quality of work and reasonable delivery lead times. It's disappointing to see misleading and unacceptable negative reviews. Takiira and Presidential Kids have earned my trust and loyalty. I highly recommend them for their exceptional service and workmanship.

Still no refund
After my previous bad review you would think that the company would try make things right. I was told I would receive my refund by the end of July. Takiira told me telephonically yesterday that she will not be refunding me because of my reviews. Their policy states if you are unhappy with a product they will refund you, this and more has happened and they refuse to refund me. It's a shame when you support small local businesses and they treat you this way and ***** from you. I paid R10 000 for a bed which maybe cost them R2000 to make. They have **** and ****med us by advertising with images that do not belong to them. Please please do not support this company.

Poor quality, shocking services, ********* company
I wish I read all the terrible reviews before purchasing from Presidential Kids. If I can advise, DO NOT purchase from this company. Absolutely everything was terrible from beginning to now. Firstly they say that the bed will take 3-4 weeks as per website and invoice, this was not fulfilled. When I did receive the bed they arrived at at 6pm which not a decent time to come and install. They were still painting the bed at my house in the room my daughter was expected to sleep in. The bed did not look the same as the pictures on their website. It looked as if it was made out of toothpicks, flimsy and uneven structure. Takirra admitted to me telephonically that the pictures on their website have infact been taken off Pinterest and are not of their own products. At this point I asked for a refund (their website does say you are entitled to one). Takiira sent a long message and said they would build me a new one which would be ready in two weeks (first week of June). I grated them the opportunity to make the situation right. After many empty promises and lies I still don't have a bed 2 months after ordering and paying 80% of the bed. I was then promised a refund but was told I would have to wait until the end of July, which is also not what their website says. They quality of the bed they delivered is beyond shocking. the service is terrible. Takiira blatantly lies to clients. DO NOT PURCHASE HERE!

Do not be caught by Presidential Kids
I wrote the original review end of March 2024 but it was removed. I am reposting it now and adding in photos from my communication with Takiira and this business. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Presidential Kids and Takiira Ndzeku. I placed a fully paid order with them on November 5th, 2023, with the promise of a two-week lead time. However, the reality of my transaction with them has been far from satisfactory (and potentially a ****). Despite my almost weekly follow-ups since early January and assurances that my item was in the manufacturing stage and would be delivered early February, nothing materialized. After a string of ignored emails and unanswered calls, I asked my husband to inquire about the same item I had ordered—a play kitchen for my daughter's first birthday—only to be told they don't make kitchens. Which he said was perplexing, as he possessed a paid invoice and a trail of emails between myself and Takiira. Upon confronting her, she initially claimed ignorance of my order (claiming to have never engaged with me), then quickly changed her story again attributed it to losing track due to being a small business. This inconsistency demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism and disregard for customer concerns. To compound matters, I paid more than double the price I would have for an imported version of the same item, hoping to support a local brand. Their failure to deliver on promises, lack of communication, and disregard for customer satisfaction have left me deeply unsatisfied (and short of a couple of thousands of rands). I strongly caution potential customers against engaging with this company, as their actions reflect a lack of integrity and commitment to their clientele.

Poor service on another level
The owner takes forever to get back to you and in most cases just ignores you and also now after it is installed 7 weeks later then the one shelve is too low on the bed and she does not respond on how it can be fixed, also after arranging delivery they did not pitch up and I had to reschedule and work my day around them to get it on another day in the evening which is very poor as she does not communicate at all it take in your calls.
