Prime property letting and management

My daughter was looking for a flat to rent in Durbanville , Cape town , area. She looked at one that was advertised under "prime property letting and management " , the price was very good , location and it being a 2 bedroomed flat for R 7000. Sounded to good to be true ??. She contacted the " agent , a mr Duncan Edward Cattell on 0732097031". He mailed a " lease agreement" , which was only 1 page with banking details and requesting immediate/instant transfer of R8200. I told my daughter not to pay. The next day i phoned mr "Cattell" , informing him we will only pay after viewing the flat. He told me it is a holding deposit , which is refundable, should we not like the flat. I insisted we only pay after viewing. He rep**** that he needed to escalate my request to his management and will get back to me. Needless to say i am still waiting. No response to further calls or whatsapp message. Please do not fall for this ****. He has other ads , similar to this. He has a bank account at standard bank
