My son sustained a fractured on their premises at Olifantsfontein, they did nothing, but offer an arm-sling and an AI generated apology. And this is only AFTER I sent them an email, they didn’t even file and incident report. For them it’s business as usual, they were still carrying on. Which made me wonder how many other cases have they swept under the carpet like mine. I don’t believe they train their staff to deal with people, and to especially deal with people in distress. Which is a hazard on its own. After my son got a fracture from another boy sliding into him, due to not being supervised on the water slide. My son had to get himself out of the water to come to the area where we were seated in order to get help from us because all the life guards mysteriously vanished and reappeared after they saw commotion at our table due to the injured child. Instead of calmly approaching the situation they come shouting at us and my son as if it was our fault that the child sustained injury. They were so insensitive and so unhlepful even when engaging the so called operations manager Robyn Noble she was so nonchalant. Didn’t take responsibility whatsoever for what happened at their water park and she dismissed me. This wasn’t the only incident that happened as our host stated that they weren’t allowed to enter the premises with snacks however two of the tables with the other race had snacks, so I suppose their hostility and lack of respect is racially motivated. If you want to spend your money at a water park, and you’re black. Rather don’t, that establishment doesn’t value black business. Which makes me wonder how they treat their staff if they can treat paying clients so badly. That Robyn must go back to school and not occupy posts she doesn’t qualify for, I don’t think she has a hint of what management entails and she has horrible customer relations. I don’t know if we report such establishments to Department of labor or the consumer board or what.

I love going to Prime view. We often go SUP (stand up paddle) on the water in the morning l. It's also safe for me to walk on my own which I love. The food is really good and the staff is so friendly, they really make a person feel welcome 🤗

Sad sad review im writing today! Yesterday 13 March 2024, my small family got some good news and we wanted to celebrate. We decided to try a place called prime view in Olifantsfontein. The setting was perfect, clear skies, setting sun, birds squawking past as they land in the water, we had a table right on the waters edge, green lawns. Perfect evening for a sun downer and a burger.. We don’t often eat out. Who really can in todays economy. So we arrive and the waitress was all smiles and friendly and eager enough to take our drinks order. We got our drinks in a reasonable time. However that’s where all the pleasantries ended. We waited for what felt like a life time for her to take our food order. We decided on the cheese burgers. At R99 a burger, I would presume it would be a good burger. We waited an extended period for our food to come out, still not complaining as sometimes freshly made food does take longer, we were in good spirits so nothing was going to ruin our mood! Eventually the food came and what a disgusting disappointment to say the least. My son does not eat lettuce so we have to open the burger and remove it. The lettuce was so limp it had gone slimy. It was so soft that while my wife sc****d the mush off the bun the gunk got stunk under her nails. The buns were rock hard. The patty left a lot to the imagination to say the very least it was TINY, and horrible! I would put money on the fact that it was not home made, but frozen food, and def not 100% meat either. It was awful and very over priced. The chips were glossy and *******. They were not even edible. All 3 of us left our chips on the plate exactly how they arrived and walked out. We had to find the waitress so we could pay and leave. Sadly we will never ever ever go back here. The food and service was shocking. How sad when you have a venue with so much potential.

That place needs a food safey agent real quick. Tonight I went there for some dinner and I was horrified, first by how there was just garbage everywhere on the floor especially the bar area. Ordered pizzer and some ****tails that were on special. Listen, I was literally drinking juice, There was no alcohol in that drink. Anyways, I ate a few slices of pizzer and took some leftovers home. When I got home I decided to finish off the pizza. I found a piece saran/plastic wrap in one piece and as I proceeded to the next piece, I was chewing on already chewed chicken bones. I dont understand how will that get into someone's food, this is a serious health issue and something needs to be done.

R170 for two beers, coffee milkshake (for some reason served in a plastic cup with sugar and a wooden stir stick) and an ice tea (because they didn’t have soft drinks) Never mind that our focaccia never materialized after 90 minutes besides being told it would be out within 3 minutes after the first 60…. Don’t waste your time, petrol or money just not worth it!!!!

Bad customer service Waiting a long time for your food and drinks. When the drinks were brought I had to go to the kitchen to ask for a glass. I ordered battered hake and chips and my chips and hake were burnt and not well cooked.

Terrible customer service and food. We had my little sister birthday party that had about 13 kids and 7 adults. Despite waiting a VERY long time for food. The food was stale and made 3 kids vomit and fall sick instantly. We asked to speak to a Manger and we were told they are too busy. After complaining we were told never to come back to the place. I would not recommend anyone to go there unless it's just to go swim. And to top it off one of the waitresses told us she's heard complaints of the food but never knew it was that bad especially after seeing the sick kids and the vomit.

Received such horrible service from this place on Wednesday evening. We had 3 different people come to our table. The first one was just there to drop of the menus and not to answer any sort of questions we might have. The 2nd one was apparently a "runner" and not a waiter, the 3rd one was the actual waiter for us. The first 2 knew nothing about the specials and the last one even asked us about a tip. I'm not sure how to describe the whole experience there, but it was flabbergasting. The food also wasn't anything to be joyful about, didn't understand the potatoe chips, my Cafe Latte was not communicating. You'll get proper service from The Hang Awt in Tembisa, I've never went there and there's apparently a "staff shortage" and their food is always on point. I hope you take your staff members for a customer service training course of some sort because the service was appalling from the Security guard at the gate, I'm not sure who he thinks he is but they're really not doing us a favor
