Worst Experience

<p> I have an LG washing machine which suddenly stopped working. I called Appliance Repairs gauteng who advised that they would immediately send out a technician to assess the problem. If I was happy with the quote I would need to transfer the funds immediately before they would repair the machine. They also advised that if I dod not accept the quote I would need to pay R395 as a call out fee. The quote was R1 485.00 to repair the switch on the door of the machine. I asked if this was it as it was very expensive just of r a switch. They confirmed and advised that once I forwarded proof of payment the technician would repair the machine. The tecnichian left and I kept calling and was advised that he had gone to purchase the switch and that he would be back the next day. Yesterday, by 12pm , I had heard nothing and the technician had still not arrived. Three phone calls later I was advised that he was "stuck " in traffic. Another two hours later he arrived only to advise that it was not the switch but the board. He left and I had to once again follow up with them today. I was then advised to contact their customer service as there was nothing else they could do. I have paid R1 485.00 for absolutely nothing. This seems like a ruse to me. I wish to warn anyone else who might be taken in by this company.</p>
