Our furniture had to be moved from Sedgefield to our farm in the Fraserburg area and I was very nervous about it. I was, however, pleasantly surprised with the affordable price and outstanding service we received from Corny and his team. From packing, loading to off-loading the next day everything went smoothly and they really went the extra mile. I can recommend Albertinia Meubelvervoer to anyone wanting to move.
My sister-in-law passed away 7 months ago and we have been struggling since then to get answers about the assisted living flat that has to be sold. After numerous emails we were told the flat is being rented out and we received rent on the 1st of April. We have received no rent for May and after numerous requests to get a copy of the contract and the rental payment we are being ignored. Their lack of honest communication is shocking and not acceptable.
My son has a personal account at ABSA. He started working in Vietnam in August last year and could not get access to his accounts via the mobile app or via internet. I, his mother, tried my best to help him to get access by speaking to various ABSA branches. Nobody made any effort to assist us. My son sent emails to ABSA to inform them of his situation and asked for an extention in repaying his loan. He did not get any reply from absa. He then received an email in December from Nimble Dept Collectors informing him that his account has been handed over by ABSA. My son sent emails to Nimble (Norman Bisset) but again nobody replied. From my side I tried to contact Nimble by phone but I were unable to get through to the numbers that was on then letter. After much frustration I sent them an email where I explained my son's situation again (I also forwarded his email) and that I will make a monthly payment until he is able to make payments from Vietnam. After my 4th email I got a reply from a Raymond Yarrow who told me to make payments to my son's ABSA account and the first payment was made on the 4th of February. Since then I am receiving daily phone calls from their call centre but when I answer there is nobody. Today I received a call again and a call centre person asked to speak to my son (he could not even say my son's name and surname correctly). Needless to say this person did not know about our emails and he also did not know about the payment I made. He told me he can not help me and I should speak to his supervisor, Raymond Yarrow, BUT Raymond is not available. I have also sent a complaint to ABSA without receiving any feedback or assistance. I am shocked about ABSA total disregard of our efforts to sort out this matter - in stead they handed the account over to an extremely inefficient debt company. It is impossible to get anyone at this debt company to talk to about this and ABSA is ignoring us completely. SHOCKING, SHOCKING, SHOCKING
