Double charged me for rental & after 4 months still not refunded my money despite admitting they shouldn't have charged
<p>I rented a vehicle through a 3rd party with Woodford Car Hire in April 2016. Third party was paid in full for the rental prior to pick up. During my rental of 29 days on the 12th May 2016, Woodford took another R4000 out of my account without consent. They admitted in writing they have also charged me for the rental despite me already paying for the rental in full AND supplying them the proof of my payment. All emails are simply being ignored and I am yet to receive my money back.</p>

Dishonest 'builder' - atrocious work done - majority work had to be done over at our cost - will NEVER recommend
<p>We appointed this builder in March 2016 as we live abroad, so needed someone here to do the job. The owner, Martin J Booker, worked for some time (March - July), then disappeared with our money that he asked us for to purchase materials. We still don't have our money back - nor our material. We had to purchase everything over again. The work that was done, was so atrocious, we now have to pay others to do it over / fix it. He never sealed our balcony stairs - water is running through into our lounge. He never plastered shower wall before starting to tile. He used pollycop pipe for our hot water upstairs which is against building regulations. He used 'blops'of tile cement - now the tiles are breaking when you walk over them. Many items built are scew & uneven. He was paid a project management fee, but use to drop the workers on site often & then head off to town WITH MY HUSBAND'S brand new tools, to go and do other jobs! The battons for the ceilings were all scew & had to be redone. Skirtings were uneven - also had to be redone. He never purchased the roofsheets we paid him for, thus the house got flooded & a lot of damage occured. Our kitchen cuts are damaged, water was pouring (I have a video) out of our mattress where it rained in. He never plastered a new door that was inserted, so it rained into the room and caused damages there as well. In order to get payment out of us, he will take photos of "completed"work & send it to us, but in the meantime he takes the photo at such an angle that you can't see the entire area. When we got back to South Africa, we saw that the works were never completed (roof trusses, balcony tiling, etc). I can go on and on! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!!!!</p>
