On Saturday the 20 August 2016, my family and I decided to try 'Ga Rouge' in Centurion out.

To our dismay:

We are a family of seven and had been seated in direct sunlight with broken wooden chairs and a holy tablecloth, we had to put up the umbrella's on our own (NO HELP from a waitron). Half of the chairs had cushions and the others had none (we asked about 5 times for cushions for the two chairs that didn't have any, until we went to fetch our own off an unoccupied table. We were asked about 10 mins later what we would like to drink, where we then asked for Menu's as we had not been welcomed with any.

Once we received our drinks and had a look at the menu, we placed our orders accordingly. We waited for one and half hours for our food to arrive. Everytime we asked the Waitron, she ran back inside to "find out the delay" and came strolling back to say that they just busy with a function. Then, we get told that the chip fryer had broke so they will only be able to offer salads instead of chips.

Later we requested the bill and noticed that there was a R300 being deducted which we assumed was a discount due to all the inconvenience. As we are an honest family, we queired this anyway with the Head Chef as no Manager was present.

The Head Chef assured us that all was in order and that was what we owed, so we paid it accordingly. After half an hour of leaving the restaurant, we received a phone call saying we need to return at once as our bill had not been settled in full.

We returned and paid the outstanding R300, again no Manager was present for us to lodge a complaint.

We are so very disappointed in the above and do not recommend the Ga Rouge.
