Always receive excellent service from this shop. I've ordered all types of items from homeware, sports gear, accessories, etc. and am always happy with the quality and delivery.
So far it's been over 3 months since an item I dropped off has gone missing. They made me submit claim documentation and for 3 months I have been getting the same useless responses with them going around and around in circles. All they do is push the issue back to the same person who in turn fails to do anything about it.
Why are they even still in business? There are places still on there that have closed down ages ago. Then there are restaurants on there where waiters have never even heard of the Entertainer app.
I ordered a Garmin watch strap from DealsDaily. It took much longer than expected due to a random check at customs. By way of apologising, Mahdi, the Ops Manager offered a R300 gift voucher to spend on the site. When it finally arrived, the strap didn’t fit, even though the description indicated it would fit my Garmin model. I wrote to Mahdi and he immediately wrote back to inform me that there was no need to return the item and processed a refund. What brilliant service!
I ordered a Garmin watch strap on 30 July. It was meant to arrive no later than 23 Aug. I can see that it has arrived in the country, but has been sitting at the depot now for a week. I contacted Aramex who are now asking for the following: Proof of payment for the consignment (payment for the goods) by means of 1 month stamped bank statement with the account holder details reflecting or bank stamped transaction history with account holder details and · Commercial invoice for the consignment; and · Order form; and · Packing list – this is similar to the invoice; however it requires more detail each item’s description, quantity and dimensions. · ID number or Importers code for Formal clearance I mean WHAT?! I've now tried to contact DealsDaily for the required information, but of course, there is no phone number, so I have to wait for a reply via email. This is the reason why people don't trust online shopping.
They tell you that the call-out fee is R500 and only payable on acceptance of the quote. Quick to come out and charge you R550 for the call-out even when they aren't able to provide a quote. It's been 9 days and I'm still waiting for that quote, but have already paid for a call-out fee that helps me with nothing. I called the offices and was promised they would get back to me. No apology though, mind you. I emailed them too. No response. Good luck to you guys for staying in business.
1. The product – not as depicted. They somehow sell you a cheap quality version of an original, then advertise it as a discounted price. In the end, you're actually getting a terrible deal. 2. Service – slow or no customer service response. When you try and return it you only get an automated response and will wait for a verrry long time to the point you might give up and keep the shoddy item to give away as a cheap gift.
Minus 5 stars. If you're thinking of an alternative treatment like SCIO or quantum healing, by all means. However, I feel compelled to to warn you that Amanda Velloen, who owns this business in Pretoria will say she can help you, will say you can ask her anything post-treatment, but she will not respond. Try as you might in desperation to get guidance from her, even just an update, she will ignore you, especially if you are not responding positively to her treatment. Bonus tip: Be warned too, that she will sell you 'stuff' you do not want or need. She will make like she's 'giving' you this book of hers and the next thing you know it she's made you pay R200 for a book that is a rip off of Louise Hay's You Can Heal Your Life - with a christian spin - which I am not! With a treatment session that alone costs no less than R1500, that's just plain and simple robbery.

I ordered two smoothies and a wrap I waited 50 minutes for my order, resulting in me running late for a meeting. They did apologise for the delay saying it was busy (though I didn't see may people, perhaps they were all phone orders. It was in a gym, so maybe everyone was pumping iron while they waited).

When I got back to the office I noticed the bag I had the smoothies in was wet. One of the smoothie containers had only slightly tipped over. Taking it out I saw a half empty container and the other half was a watery white liquid.

Ok, sorry, I had to take a sip. Sweetened, watered-down milk.

So if you can't complete an order in an acceptable time do you just go ahead and fill it up with any old junk?

I've visited this spa about 4 or 5 times over a number of years, and have never been particularly enthralled by any of their over priced treatments. I was given a birthday voucher so decided to give it another bash.

1.

I ordered a particular 90 minute facial because I particularly wanted lymph drainage, but as I lay on the plinth, the the****** then decides to tell me that this treatment is unsuitable for my skin because I will feel burning, and offers me a 60 minute facial, at the same cost.

Problems: In the first place, how about informing clients when they book that particular treatments may not be suitable due to skin sensitivity. How about asking clients why they're choosing a particular treatment and what they want to get out of it? Furthermore, I have never suffered from sensitive skin.

2.

I ordered a 30 minute reflexology treatment, not expecting much besides a foot rub, since reflexology is a specialised discipline and one spa the******s never really master. Well, I got a foot rub alright. One foot got rubbed. The other one hung around in anticipation between a prod and press. Though I can't say for sure what was going on down there snce it was dark and I had a patch stuck to my eyes, no one in this world can honestly say that that is what a foot rub, (nevermind refloxology treatment) is supposed to be.

Problem:

We pay good money to go to these places they call spas, WHY?
