I moved into one of the premises managed by Compass Standerton. Since December 2022 up to present I have been dissasstified with their service delivery. I The premises bathroom had a bath with holes in it they promised to replace, i was without a bath for 4 months. The stove wasn't working and they promised to repair it, it took six months. Yet I had to pay regular rent. The gate motor stopped working and they used the load shedding as an excuse although the gate motor itself broke. This was taken away and only returned three months later. The battery was old so I replaced it with a lithium battery and they took theirs away. So when I move out, will I get the lithium battery back. Probably not. This has been the worst property management I have experienced and I am in the property maitenance business. Before this month began I told them I need another place with a pet friendly yard and they gladly started showing me other places. I then sent notice that I am moving and they said because I didn't do it on the last day of November and only a week later I will have to guve an additional months notice. I told them that I was actively looking for anothet place with them so they knew about it. I am reporting them to the Real Estate ombudsman and I will not use Compass Real Estate again.
I bought a 2 beef burger combo from Spar in Standerton. I still had a friendly chat to the take away section manager on why they don't enhance the burger with a slice of cheese. He said the beef burger has sauce and gherkins. I then proceeded to buy my burgers which I do often. When home it was just after 13:20 and loadshedding had started. So I opened one burger and loaded it with my own cheddar cheese and ate it. There was oen small peice of lettuce and a drop of sauce. So not the regular standard. Later 16:30 I decided to have the other burger. When I seperated the buns, low and behold the patty has a bite out of it. This is so unhealthy, unhygienic and a definite no in fast food business. What if I get sickness, hiv or something from a contaminated item. Someone in their kitchen obviously didn't think the consumer would look inside. Sad to say, I will never trust food from that Spar again unless it's a sealed can. I am taking it back tomorrow with the slip. I wonder what kind of attittude I will receive upon filing my complaint.
I bought something and diligently waited for delivery, took a day off so I can be here to collect as per their items and email instruction that the parcel is out for delivery. Now they tell me the address is an issue. I double checked and its correct and get deliveries all the time. From Ram, Courier Guy and Takealot. I also checked my order and its correct so RAM is making up stories and causing me discomfort and another day off. On the phone I explained to the lady that my address is correct and the edenvale guy should have no problem delivering but she refused to be accommodating. Unacceptable.
I paid up my Edgars and I even have a positive credit amount, which means they must refund me. I try and call them (or RCS as it seems) and have now tried 2...each 10 minutes long calls. Second time I more than twice gave all my security credentials. I got my balance told to me. Then I try and ose my account and then suddenly their system needs to ask me even more security questions. I say we'll okay.. But then there are this and there is that problem. So now they tell me I must go to an Edgars store to close it. The nearest store is 150km round trip. What do I have to do to get my money back from them and my account closed... Why can they not do it online as per their procedure explained in the internet?
I contacted netstarband told them that the vehicle that has been with them since August 2020 has been written off and no longer should be tracked. I canceled the insurance that used them to install the tracker months back so it should automatically lapsed. Now they send me an sms saying they have started a debit for 1 April. I am not their client and I signed no debit order with them.
A long while back I almost signed up with Afrihist but cacelled. Suddenly after month I get an email saying welcome to Afrihist and it asks me to activate my account. The hell I will... But guess what, they also deduct 485 from my account without permission. This is fraud. I have no money and they take the last bit I need for food. How awful of them.
Clicks opens at 08:30, has a sign that says they have a generator. Yet, more than 60 patrons had to stand for an hour, some in the sun, waiting for Standerton Clicks to decide to open not sure when... They are moving around inside, arrogantly as if they are above their customers. This is unacceptable.
I got a new Samsung A33 on contract from MTN and since week 2 have had continuous problems with this phone. It was swapped in week 2 with a new one, then the new one started giving software issues. It was repaired supposedly and within a week I returned it again. They have now had it for 7 weeks or more and they cannot find the right info, tell me it has physical damage and this and that... I sent it in with a software issue... What the hell is going on. This phone is under warrantee. I have not even had the chance to use it properly but I am paying over 300 a month on it. This is the worst service ever.
Called Vodacom. Fiber is unusable. Sir, before we can help you record speed test morning, then lunch and then evening. Call us back and we will then investigate. I can't even use dstv or watch world cup and my line is supposed to be 200/200. How pathetic!
I logged a claim with DotSure. They took days to respond. After a few back and forth discussions, sending all the required paperwork, photos and police report...they declined to pay out - stating that I didn't specify the cheaper radio I installed. The original policy stated a factory fitted (R10 000) radio and I installed a R3999.00 unit. My vehicle was vandalized. So, regardless of what kind of radio, factory or custom, it was vandalized because they couldn't steal it. So, the payout to DotSure would be less due to the cheaper radio fitted but they refuse to pay out. I find this odd, unprofessional and a warning flag for potential customers...they will find any reason not to pay out it seems. I will never use DotSure after this...
