Long sales story, inferior repair

<p>In 2015 I took my steering rack with a bit of play and was promised a rebuild with better seals(than OEM wich I had) and so forth. Long story short I had to take that unit out 3 times returning it to WEST PTA allways with the same result. I had to buy a new unit from BMW wich would have worked out cheaper to start with... Today I went to their shop again regarding another steering box (over the phone they said they will help me remove a nut to change a seal) and once there they tried to slap me with a full repair costing allmost R4000 for a R20 seal I wanted to replace. They tried to sell me the repair but I got annoyed hence this post. Watch out (as allways) on what sales people tell you - do your own research.</p>
