Have a LG TV that did a software update yesterday now the TV keeps rebooting. LG insists it is not a software issue but it is strange that for weeks it did not do reboot. Only now after a software update
My Telkom Internet was suspended on Sat 9th Oct. Phoned Telkom on Sunday twice ( 40min a time before getting answered) was cut off the first time. Second time lady informed me suspended was due to being 7 cents behind In my account. Phoned the billing section on the Monday was told my account was fine. Phoned Internet support section again was told suspended due to loadsheding and another section would be notified. Received a ref 6824025. A hour later. Phoned again Monday afternoon was told the same story still not rectified. My issue also is how does management track there staff working from home if you are not given any ref no, record if issue was resolved or not so staff don't have to do anything to prove fault was fixed or not. ! In total I have Phoned 5 times on hold for 30 min a time and only 1 ref from another section who you can't get hold of.
Received feedback from Discovery regarding my Health Plan Protector. Any excess or shortfall is then transferred to your Health Fund, where your Health Fund grows annually at a rate of interest in line with average rates of interest set by banks for savings accounts. I am sure Discovery doesn't invest the money in a bank account at Bank rates. So please read the fine print before taking out a policy. Could have invested the funds in the Share Market with better returns.
Took out a Income Protector Fund in 2003 with a payout of R250000. In November 2019 due to a shoulder op they reduced the payout to R235000. Now when the policy is supposed to pay out they have reduced it to R153000. Discovery acts like Old Mutual and Sanlam did in the past with your Endowment and RA. Promise you a big payout but you get a third of what they promise.
Bought and paid for 5 Toilets from Buildit Herm**** on the 3rd of September. Now they can only deliver 3. Was never told they haven't got stock. Now still waiting for delivery.
Durbanville TV DSTV accredited installer is ripping customers off by overcharging for parts. Splitter that costs r110 charges R850. LNB R550 Charges R600. Plus a call out fee of R450 plus labour of R500.
A Company that is easy to investment money with but don't try and move your account to another Competitor. Lodged a request to move my account from them on the 29th July. After 47 Emails and phoning their Helpdesk. Still no joy. Even escalating to a Senior Manager? No joy. I get the impression the staff are poorly trained and haven't a clue what they are doing.
Went to Builders Warehouse Cape Gate to buy a Black & Decker random orbital sander. What poor customer service from the floor manager. First of all a nice lady tried to help me when the only one left was a display one. She said I could purchase it and tried to find the box with the dust bag that came with it. She didn't get much help from her colleague. I then asked for the Manager who after phoning him twice and after a long wait eventually. Came. Then told me I can buy it without the bag for the same price. Told me the agent took the box and bag away.l and can't give me any discount. He must think I am stupid. A pensioner can get 10% discount!! He didn't even make the effort to try and find the box and dust bag or another store. No wonder stores close down when the Floor Manager is not prepared to go the extra mile.
My dstv catchup has not been working for two weeks now. Have phoned them on numerous occasions no help. Also my Extra view doesn't work either error E143. They tell me that they have a exiting problem with catchup but I cant log a fault or get a reference nr. They have also increased my account to r1021? .
I ordered and paid for a pair of compression pants online with this Company on the 15th of July, Payment went thru on the 17th and since then I have had the run around from this Company. I have sent them over 12 Emails requesting feedback as to when I will receive my order but all I get his promises that my order is on the way, they will send me my pants from another order. It is now 4 months later and no pants.
