Hi

I purchased a vehicle in April 2016 at Inspectacar Gezina.

I was helped by Mohammed Moola (sales person).

It was my first vehicle and I was fairly new to the finance and paperwork.

So I had the vehicle for a week and I heard a few strange noises coming from the gear box and brakes. I reported this to Mr.Moola and he informed me to look for a warranty book in the vehicle and take it to an R.M.I to have it sorted. I looked for the warranty book and there was nothing. I then called him again and this time he changed the entire story. He told me that I did not pay for the warranty book and therefore they could not give me one. No where on my contract did it state that I had to pay for the warranty book. So I contacted Mr Moola again and this time I was told I could not be helped. I have a case opened with ombudsman of which will take time due to the lack of staff. Inspectacar refuses to give me any information about the warranty book or the previous owner of the vehicle. Surely they are hiding something regarding the vehicle. I had an engine knock in September 2016 and it costed me 20k to fix. According to my mechanic , the dealership did fraud and changed the mileage of the vehicle.

This is my story, I urge you guys to be very careful of this dealership.

Regards

Kerry
