Vavoom Typing is one of the many companies that advertise that you can do typing for them from home, giving the whole "the virtual office" "outsourcing is the way of the world" spiel. They provide training at the small fee of R300, but their information is totally misleading. The training material they send is on how to start your own business online, how to advertise etc. Befor you pay them, the information they send never states that one must setup your own business - it is (very cleaverly) worded to make an applicant believe that what you sign up for is work that one is actually going to be doing through them and you will being paid for directly by Vavoom Typing. They go to great lenths to explain that you will be paid "the same day" via EFT for work done. How on earth can they control how an when you will be paid if you are running your own business and you have to find and negotiate with your own clients. Do not fall for their tricks, they are clearly pro's at lulling you into a false sense of security! They have a wonderful website showing what they offer to clients in the way of typing, so it gives the applicant the false impression that they will be doing this typing work. When you enquire what on earth is going one when you get this dummy training information, they add that oh, yes, from time to time they will forward you their "overflow" typing work. Don't fall for this!
