The customer service and communication was excellent. Delivery was prompt. The food is delicious and definitely good value for money!
Gordon Road Spar Before it burned down,Gordon Spar was our favorite shop. The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. Today Dorcas and Emma proofed once again that our previous experiences, wasn't just a once off. There was 2 customers infront of me by the kiosk. I only wanted to replace my Spar card, as the old green one wasn't accepted any more. Between the 3 ladies standing around, no one bothered to attend to me. They helped the 2 men buying Cigarettes and then continued the cigarette converson among each other. I asked if they were planning on assisting me and was told that they thought I was with the elderly gentleman. Reluctantly, I was assisted and got my new card. I told Emma that after this I wasn't sure if I would need a loyalty card, because of the bad attitude. Got to the 10 item or less counter, Dorcas didn't bother to greet. We had 14 items... we apologized as we didn't count the groceries - just got stuff for a braai and the 2 fishing magazines that magically appeared Dorcas barked at us to "go to the normal tellers we have more than 10 items" "My Spar", of wich we were so proud of, now has a beautiful brand new look... unfortunately the great service and friendly faces are all gone Not at all a good experience on a Sunday afternoon!
Bestfin. Choosing a new medical aid is very complicated - even for me (dealing with different medical aids every day) I had a terrible experience with Fedhealth and was looking for a new affordable, efficient medical aid. Even Hippo struggles to compare medical aids as the format and the terminology of each medical aid differ. While stalking a couple of medical aids, I enquired online and some how got through to Lyn. She send me an email with basic questions about my medical aid needs, followed by an easy to compare table of suitable medical aids. Between Juanita and Lyn, my paperwork was done and as soon as my notice month expired, my family was covered on our new medical aid. Thank you Lyn and Juanita, your efficient, professional and friendly service is much appreciated!
After waiting for more than a month for Absa Debi Check, we went to the Campus Square branch. The consultant weren't able to assist us, as there are no home loan departments at the branches. We were however put through to home loans via telephone. After 30min of excuses, we were told that we "declined" the Debi Check. How can you decline something you never received? Then we were told that our attorneys must phone another number to initiate the process, as nothing was initiated. Absa is incompetent and is now trying blameshifting. We have very capable, competent, professional attorneys and this is not their first rodeo. Please Absa, fix your system, we have been loyal customers of Volkskas / Absa for 30years and this service is unacceptable!
On Friday 29/11/2019 we did an online order, with delivery for R338.00 (For 5x 20l of paint) Upon paying, we didn't get to choose a delivery time, but qualified for "Priority delivery". The automated delivery date was 29/11/2019. As the order was placed just after 14:00, it seemed doable - the store usually trades till 18:00, had stock and is less than 15 minutes away. On Satuday 30/11/2019, I phoned at 9:00 and was told that the delivery was scheduled for Saturday and I will receive a call before Builders deliver to confirm... Sunday 01/12/2019.... phoned numerously - no answer, but can be forgiven Monday 02/12/2019 at 10:30, my husband phones - delivery is in front of the gate. No call to say it's on their way, they are already there. Now I have to take off from work, drive back home, fetch a key, open and then get back to work. We asked if they can deliver at an alternative address, where hubby can sign, and was told "No" However, they can leave it with our neighbors, which we don't know from a bar of soap! If there was a problem with delivery, just phone the customer and arrange a time with them that is convenient for everybody!

I have been using White Glo toothpaste for about 10 years now, no complaints. Recently I bought the Professional Choice and Coffee and Tea from Pick n Pay. What a disappointment! The sealed box and tube was opened by my during our holiday to discover a watery gel coming from the tube. It appeared as if the toothpaste wasn't mixed properly and didn't dissolve. It also seemed like the tubes were only filled halfway. I did send a message on the White Glo Facebook messanger. The reply was "thank you for using our product, is there any product left?" I responded, "yes, there is" and that was the end... I'm annoyed as I loved the brand, the toothpaste and brush used to be top quality.
Thank you for the great specials and early delivery. My order was only supposed to be released on 23 April Much to my surprise, I received the SMS that my order is on it's way and I received the complete order on 15 April.
McDonald's Florida North... Everything is very modern and you order on a touch screen. We opted for paying cash at the counter, where they didn't have change. Then we waited 15min for our 2 large chocolate milkshakes and 2 chocolate Sundays. The waitress receiving the order called our number, put the order on her side of the counter and preceded to cleaning the counter of slips. We stood in front of her, with our slip for another minute - she just had to proof her point. The milkshake cups had milkshake spills on them and the Sundays were just stuck in the tray, nearly spilling chocolate sauce on me. In the 15 minutes it took them, atleast 6 staff members went to the toilet inside the shop and 6 of them where on lunch, eating McDonald's at the tables located at the door. 2 complaints on orders being wrong and no happy faces in the restaurant as the staff is extremely rude and arrogant. This behaviour is very unprofessional!!
We went to Shoprite Sophiatown on 1 January at 16:00. After we done our shoping, we went to a "cash only" till to check out. The "cashier" at the till sat with her back to us. We had to greet her 4 times before she turned around and said: "No, no, no" As it turns out, she was a packer, sitting there waiting for home time. We wasted time in the queue, waiting for a packer! We then moved to the next queue, where we weren't even greeted. I asked for the manager to report the bad service, and was signaled in a genereal direction of "there". This is bad service at it's best. I know it's horrible to work on weekends and public holidays - I do it myself -always friendly and professional!
