I've just switched to Naked Insurance, and I'm blown away by their service and affordability! Their app is so user-friendly, and I love that I don't have to speak to a consultant unless I want to. Their quote came in at just above half of what I was paying previously! I'm so pleased.
I have been trying non-stop to call the Rosebank, Fourways and Melrose Arch branches of Forever New for the past 3 days (multiple times per day) and NOBODY answers the phones at these stores. I've tried emailing Forever New's customer care regarding my question but they aren't responding to me either. I'm just wanting to find out which JHB stores have stock of 2 of their tops that I am looking for as I need the items ASAP and can't order them online and wait for delivery (also up to 14 working days for standard delivery???? Are you crazy!!!). I cannot go around checking every single store in JHB for these tops!!! Come on Forever New! You are a classy brand but your customer service sucks big time. It isn't that hard to answer a phone!!! Can someone please get back to me?!
I need to commend Moira and The Cat Hotel, Linden on the 5 star service they are offering. I use them to look after my cat every time I go away. Their cattery facilities are amazing and spacious with classical music, heaters, toys, water fountains and trees. It's a kitty paradise. The staff are so friendly and helpful and Moira, the owner goes out of her way to ensure all the kitties are happy and comfortable. She knows the regulars by name and takes time to know their owners. I have moved residence and the cat hotel is no longer near where I live but I will never use anyone else. They are honestly the best cattery in jhb. Thanks Moira and The Cat Hotel team for always looking after my kitty so well. He comes back happy, healthy and calm. Keep up the great service.
On 2 November I ordered a serotonin necklace from We Heart This and paid R125 in courier fees for 3 to 5 day delivery. Two weeks later I had received no parcel and no update. I contacted We Heart This and was advised that they were out of stock as the one I ordered was broken and they are waiting for another batch to come from overseas which was due the next week. I was offered a refund on the courier fee. It is now 5 December and I haven't been refunded for my courier fees nor have I received the necklace. Yesterday I emailed asking for a full refund and to just forget about the necklace. No reply has been sent to me. I am beyond furious. They've taken my money, aren't sending the product and are not refunding me. It is appalling. I never get any progress update from them unless I email them to ask what is happening. And now I'm not getting any reply at all.
<p>I used Samaritan Movers for a move from Dunkeld West in JHB to Bryanston in JHB last Friday. In addition to moving services I requested carpet cleaning and general cleaning services and packaging services which they offer. I paid 80% upfront. On move day they were due at 9am. At 9.30 I got a call saying their truck broke down and they arranging alternative transport. At around 12 they had still not arrived. When trying to call their numbers just went to voicemail. I was at this point convinced this was a scam. I as a result went to buy packaging materials from Boxman and started packing my belongings. At 3.45pm they arrived in a rubble removal flat bed truck. They packed my things in such a rush without taping them up and my belongings were falling out the boxes. They packed them on the truck so high and irresponsibly and put a net over to keep it in place. By now it was after 5pm. The rules of my new complex were that I had to be moved in by 5pm. I had discussed this with Karen from Samaritan movers before hand. The truck had to follow me in my car because the driver did not know the route and as they did not have space on the truck I had to transport 4 of their workers to the new premises. In addition I had to pay the one worker's taxi fare as they did not have money for him to get home. We arrived at my new complex after 6pm and they only finishedo unpacking my goods after 8pm. The whole experience was so stressful and the company was so unprofessional. The workers were smelly and no cleaning services were provided to me. Nevertheless I was asked for the balance of my payment in cash which I refused. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I couldn't even get hold of the boss Adrian the entire day as his phone just went to voicemail. Do not use this company even if they promise low rates or to better your quote. They are awful</p> <p> </p>
