Upon arriving at the Hotel, being a little early as normal, we went to reception to tell them we have arrived and by any chance if the room was ready, expected it was not. Roaming around in the streets of Durban passing time it eventually turned 14:00 for check-in. Booking the hotel online and paying in full- the issue arise with the payment that was not made in full and that we need to pay another R 800 and something rand. After arguments it was left because obviously the hotel had my husbands credit card details. ( We booked a room with an ocean view) WRONG! thought the Blue Waters Hotel- ((we have the money they can have any other room except the one they booked. )) Room was clean- expected of an Hotel room. We got a balcony! - without the ocean view- dirty old plastic chairs on the balcony! After a long day we decided to get our stuff from the car - Parking of the Hotel is advertised but not 1 person asked if we wanted to park in the under ground parking area- that you need to pay for also not mentioned- after the 3rd attempt to park we finally figured it out. A good nights sleep was in order after this horrible day... AND THEN IT HAPPENS! The world most noise-ist hotel EVER! phoned Front desk a couple of times to complain but I was just basically trying to make new friends it seems- No one ever responded! Breakfast was AMAZING! but that's it! a Hotel for the Food! Money wasted! Please rather book into a guest house or a small B&B im sure it will cost less and be 100 times better! Really disappointed!
