We had delivered some products to this company on 2 occasions, 3 and 8 July 2018. An agreement was reached that we will get paid within 7 days, whereas we don't allow such times in general we took the chance as they were a new business. Since then we have not received any money. We had to take matters into our own hands to order meat for compensation. The meat we received was better than nothing, but still not the quality that you would buy in the shop directly if you'd walk in to buy. That was during July/August 2017. There is still and amount of R2141.09, when we ordered meat last week we were told that we have to pay for it as the "auditor" of the company already settled the outstanding monies and that he cannot pay us twice. No proof was delivered as we requested and also requested that the "auditor" should be contacted. A few minutes later the owner contacted me and said that apparently the "auditor" is out of town for the weekend and that he will get back to me on Monday, 4 September 2017. Up until now, I have and will not hear anything from this owner Jurie, as the shop is empty and there is no meat and no money were paid to us! Please do not do business with the owner or his worker as they are not truthful!
<p>We were sitting in the smoking area, because we have electricity to connect our laptop and it is the most confortable place to sit at Brewers as outside is cold and have small seats to sit on. When we asked the waitress to please put the airconditioning on as it is hot and a smoking are without any ventilation, except for the door, they said that the boss is complaining about the airconditioning saying it uses a lot of electricity and they must save some electricity and not put it on. The smoking area does not have ventilation and is a health hazard! Asking for the aircon to be put on and given a reply like that is not enough!!</p>
<p>Almost finish eating all our food, I found hair at the bottom of my plate under the eggs. When the manager was approached, he said that it is not hair, but hair brush from the brush bristles which they use to clean the grills. No apoligies or replacement offered.</p>
<p>We are regular customers at the Brewers BBQ, Waverley. The other day we ordered water with our meal, when almost half in the glass, I felt something hard in my mouth as I was using a straw. Thought it to be ice, but it was to hard to bite. When I took it out of my mouth we realized it was glass. As we looked at the bottom of our glass water, we saw more pieces of glass. We called the manager where he was very surprised, and apologized, not offering that it be replaced or whatever. We never receive this kind of service throughout our dining out.</p>
