I had to go to this recruitment company two times for interviews so that they could gather information about me for their personal records and information they can send to companies. They feel that they have the right to completely infringe on your privacy by asking you when you are going to get married, when you are planning to have children, what your partner is doing for a living, who you are interviewing with, the exact amount you are currently earning, etc. These questions are downright illegal, they use it to discriminate against you and they actually put you in a worse position than you were before. FS Personnel is also a firm believer that they have the right to send out your personal information to everybody they see fit, but to keep you, the candidate, firmly in the dark about what is going on. They have poor excuses for not divulging a so called client’s name, because a candidate has a right to know where his/her personal information is being sent. If they offer any level of professional service they should not have any concerns about the integrity of their clients or candidates.

FS Personnel does not offer “effective and efficient” services as their website so proudly states. They can also learn the true meaning of honesty and integrity before they so pompously try and announce it to the world with their sharky smiles.

I was contacted by TimesTalent Recruitment for a position at a company. I immediately had to give out all of my personal details to the consultant; CV details had to be sent ASAP, etc. When the interview was scheduled, she promised to send me all of the particulars regarding date, time, place and who will be attending the interview after our call. I phoned her again the following week to find out when she was going to send the information and then she lied over the phone that “she was about to send it, then you called”.

The interview went really well and the company told me that they will make a decision within a week. I phoned the consultant after a week and she said that she has not heard anything and she will find out from her manager and phone me the next day. Again, she lied because she did not make any effort to phone me. I sent her and her manager a mail the following week to request feedback. In typical recruitment agency style – they gave me no feedback the entire week, because they are thoughtless and rude. I phoned them the following week and requested to speak to the manager immediately. Of course the manager was in a “meeting” and I had to phone back. After I phoned back I was put through to the lying consultant who told me that I did not get the job due to reasons which she could not substantiate. I asked her why she did not phone me last week because she had known all along and her retort was that “she meant to get back to me”. I wanted to speak to her manager and I was promptly fed more lies: the manager was busy and she will also tell me the same unsubstantiated lies. I told her I was going to phone the company that I went to the interview for and she said that I could not do that because I was going to seem desperate. I ignored her and in fact had a decent, professional conversation with one of the managers I had an interview with and they had a completely different version than the lying recruitment company.

Please beware of Times Talent Recruitment. They only use you and as soon as they are done with you, they scatter you in the corner to move onto their next victim. They are liars, unprofessional and don not timely communicate feedback to you.
