Salsa Mexican Grill Meyersdal
Best authentic Mexican food I have had in a while, and at such good prices too! We had the prawn tostadas and hard-shell chicken nachos; it was very filling and packed with flavour, and the food was made with fresh ingredients, you could taste it. And they have an array of shooters that come in so many interesting flavours - this I would like to try at my next visit.

Just Teddy Above and Beyond
My mother's birthday fell on the same day as Mother's Day this year, the 12th. And despite their initial terrible customer service over the phone (in making changes to the booking), Just Teddy's went above and beyond to make our lunch memorable. I highly recommend the high tea, it is enough for 2 people - so filling you won't need to order more - salmon cream cheese bagels, cucumber cheese bagels, fluffy scones, mini chicken burgers, and the airiest pastries, and honestly, the best macarons I have ever eaten that come in so many flavours. They also have dozens of teas, I tried the creamy caramel, and it was perfect, not too sweet. The decor, the smell of Jasmine wafting in the air, and classical music, coupled with the dainty treats felt like something straight out of Bridgerton. They gave us a booth and a free birthday cake - as an apology for the rudeness over the phone 2 days prior - and it made my mom's birthday/Mother's Day even more special. She was so happy. Some of the best food, and service, with the kindest staff. We will visit many more times. Thank you, Just Teddy's, (@ Hyde Park)!

Dischem Newmarket
Dischem New Market has amazing staff, I am a budding makeup artist, and some of the products get sold out fast. But the staff in that section, by the perfumes placed an order and kept my details for when the new stock came in. They kept some aside for me and called me when it was there. Furthermore, they take time to come and help you test and find products.

Aramex got me running in circles
Worst call centre ever, they kept cutting my call. I spent R80,00 on airtime with them. I couldn't find the Whatsapp service option, it's very unclear. A lot of confusion around who to send POP to. I kept being sent I circles. The employees were confused on whether I did not or did pay, some said I did, some said I didn't. Extra payments were required. After already paying for the tariff/customs. The employees do not know what they are doing, poor communication between departments.

The Living Room - Wow
Stunning rooftop bar and restaurant, a creative and wholesome space filled with great music and visual artists ready to capture your experience with a drawing. The space is filled with greenery and interesting furnishings that give a cozy feel. Unfortunately there is not enough seating, so book a table in advance. The food is fresh and delicious, good portions for the price. And please try the lemon pudding dessert, it was divine. The service is friendly and quick. Overall, a good vibe for a relaxed Sunday or a few drinks with friends. :)

Mamasamba Rosebank Mall - Wow experience :)
Aside from this restaurant being stunningly beautiful, and feeling like you're engulfed in a rich green forest. The restaurant serves delicious food - particularly the sushi - and drinks (moreover any alcoholic beverage can be made into a mocktail on request). Do try the desserts! Even if you're full, I promise you that they'll take your taste buds on a blissfully sweet journey. The service is 12/10. The waiters are attentive, friendly, and quick. Two waiters even walked my friend and I back to our car, because we did not feel safe walking by ourselves so late in the evening. All round. An amazing experience that you will not regret. It is a bit pricey, but totally worth it!

Hot Chocolate, without the Chocolate
<p>MacDonalds hot chocolate in Ellis Park has lost its quality, This is the second time that I have purchased a hot chocolate at this MacDonalds, but this time it has become quite irritating to continue to recieve such a badly made beverage.</p> <p>The hot chocolate the first time was luke warm, as if it had been left waiting, before being given.</p> <p>The second time which was today ( 13/06/2017 07:37:53 ) the hot chocolate, lacked its chocolate, the hot chocolate was more boiling water topped with milk than anything, very flavourless.</p> <p>I do hope that the quality toward the hot chocolates improve.</p> <p> </p>
