I was initially in contact with Karen on 24 November 2020 and received an immediate response for upfront payment and later required documentation which was sent through as requested. Communication was good until 28 December which is the last time I have heard from her and after numerous attempts at emails, messages and trying to get through on the phone, I have still yet to receive a response on the update of my claim. Reading all the negative reviews I see Im not the only one struggling. I understand that there is a backlog of UIF claims, but a simple response letting you know that they haven't in fact done a runner with your money goes a long way in putting one's mind at ease about the service.
I have used Samaritan Movers now to move my house for the second time and I have nothing but praise for them. From the first communication to the last delivery, their professionalism and aim to please is exceptional. I will most definitely use them again in the future!

After years of choosing Pick n Pay over most other retailers, I decided to try Pick n Pay Online Shopping for the first time - and it will definitely be the last.

I placed an order with Pick n Pay (Order No. ********** ) on Tuesday 27 June 2017 for delivery the following day at 3pm. On Wednesday at 4pm I recieve notification that money has been deducted from my account for the order (R500 less than original invoice because apparently they didnt have half the stock). Straight after that I recieve an email stating that they can not deliver my order due to technical difficulties and would have to reschedule for a leter time slot.

I phoned on Thursday to find out what time my order would be arriving. Again they ask what time would be convenient for me - I say 3pm again.

At about 5pm I phone to find out where my delivery is as this is now the second time I have had to arrange someone to be at the house to recieve the order. They tell me the driver is stuck in traffic and they cant give me a time. He arrives at about 6:30 on Thursday evening. A number of items in my order did not arrive, but I had been charged for them on the invoice. The driver proceeded to tell me that he would deliver the outstanding items on Friday morning beween 8 - 10am. I again arrange for someone to be at the house to recieve the outstanding items.

Needless to say he never arrived....yet again!

Friday afternoon I phone to find out if my order is going to be delievered or not and if not I expect a refund. The sales person tells me they will have to phone the store and ge back to me. No reply.

It is now Monday afternoon, I have heard nothing from anyone at Pick n Pay regarding my outstanding items or a refund of any kind. Nor have I heard back from the manager I spoke to on Thursday evening with regards to what has gone wrong with my order.

On top of all of this, there were items that were delivered that had obviously been thrown around or packed badly because they were crushed beyond use! An absolute waste of money.

Never, ever again. What was supposed to be convenient has wasted more time and money than what it would have if I had just stuck to my normal shopping routine.

Pick n Pay, you have just lost one of your very loyal customers.
