Dumped my delivery two blocks away, 10% short
<p>I ordered 198 bags of topsoil from Master Organics and gave them very careful directions how to approach my building site in Green Point, the same route that all large vehicles have used during construction. </p> <p> </p> <p><br />But instead they dumped my order on High Level Rd, two blocks from my site, and told my builder to come and fetch it, an expense to me over and above their already extortionate delivery fee of R1200 + VAT. They claim they sent a truck too big to navigate an urban area (that too is their issue as they were quite aware of where they were delivering). They also shortchanged me by 18 bags and refused to make good.</p> <p> </p> <p>The worst part of the experience with Master Organics, though, was dealing with the apparent boss, Odette. She took no responsibility for their poor service or the fact that they'd overcharged me by R500, in fact she was extremely unpleasant to deal with.</p> <p> </p> <p>Avoid using Master Organics - use your local nursery rather. You'll get the delivery and goods you paid for, with a lot more pleasant attitude. </p>
